Prologue

Marissa's P.O.V

I was in one of the top packs in the world. It was by far one of the most influential. Smaller packs looked up to us for guidance. It was pretty cool. Our strength. Our talents. Our gifts. The only one thing my dad had a high position. No he wasn't alpha but he was important. I had a gang. Yes, a gang and let me tell you. We are quite the troublesome ones. Surely taking after our dads. We were always moving around. But for now we were going to be in Waterfall Heights, a remote town in God knows where. 

And yes you guessed it there was a waterfall. Most of the humans couldn't find it mostly because it was so into the forest. Only wolves had the stamina to travel that distance over the terrain. It was the wolf hangout. Barely, any humans travelled there. This was because the pack that originally lived there spread rumours about the place being haunted which did scare the pathetic humans. But what was the reason they did this?

Well, there was this primitive thing. Every full moon the wolves would gather there to howl. So, it was basically a party. There was only one school; Waterfall Academy. Both wolves and humans attended. I would finish my last year there along with my best friends. Basically, we,the children of the high ranking members were being shipped off to a town in the middle of nowhere. And to top it off we weren't even told why. Time for you to meet my friends:

Britney- 17years- Daughter of the Alpha and Luna. Unmated. Total bad ass. Then again she is a top dog. 1 older brother- Adam.

Cristal- 18years- Daughter of a Beta. Mated to Dylan. Pretty quiet.

Regina-18 years- Daughter of a Beta. Mated to Cameron. Witty. Bitchy. 

Courtney- 17 years- Daughter of a Gamma. Unmated. Has younger sister called Catherine. She's  just special.

Yasmin- 17 years- Daughter of a Gamma. Mated to Nash. Doesn't look like a threat. Has twin younger siblings; Emma and Elle.

Dylan- 19 years.- Son of a Gamma. Mated to Cristal. Blue eyes. Brown hair. Toned.

Cameron-19 years- Son of a Gamma. Mated to Regina. Brown eyes. Black hair. Toned.

Nash-  18 years- Son of a Gamma. Mated to Yasmin. Blue eyes. Black hair. Toned

Terminology class:

1. Alpha and Luna- Heads of a pack. 

2. Beta- second in command. There are multiple since this is a huge pack. There are many outposts.

3. Gammas- These are the warriors and follow the Betas in command.

4. Representatives- They form a council; alpha, luna, betas, gammas. They are succeded by their                                          children to protect the pack.
