LUCEY'S POV
"I was ready to leave ten minutes ago," I groaned, nudging Luke with my shoulder to let him know it was time to stop talking and go home.
"I know, I know," he whispered back at me, though continuing his conversation with Calum.
I was rather annoyed at how he'd been acting tonight, but at the same time I felt bad for the way I'd been whining tonight. He probably just thought that I was on my period and being super needy and grumpy, which was probably farther from the truth than anything. If he knew my real reason for wanting to leave the club despite only having been there for a little over an hour, I can almost promise he would not be so reluctant.
After waiting a few more minutes for him to wrap things up, I determined that my subtle approach was not working like I intended. It was time or me to make things a bit more obvious. So slowly, and as nonchalantly as possible, a between Luke and Calum to go start up a conversation with Ashton, being sure to press my back side up against Luke's groin. He blew out threw his nose and grabbed my forearm as I passed him, preventing me from going any further.
"What exactly do you think you're doing?" He hissed in my ear before faking a smile and pretending to keep listening to Calum. When I simply smirked and ignored him, I felt his firm hand on my hip and knew I had successfully struck a nerve. He cleared his throat before speaking. "I'm sorry to hear about that Calum, and as much as I'd like to hear more about it, Lucey hear just informed me she's not feeling well."
I let out a pathetic cough and turned my head to look up at Luke through my eyelashes.
"Is that so?" Calum asked, eyeing us suspiciously. "Well I guess you guys had better take the car and head home then. Don't worry about me; I'll just catch a cab or something."
"I appreciate it, Cal," Luke said, already headed for the exit. I grinned triumphantly as I followed him into the parking lot and climbed into the car.
"I think my fever is getting worse. I'm so hot," I giggled.
"Yeah, and you know it too," Luke hissed, shooting me a glare. "But seriously, you're one of the worst actresses I've ever seen. You did a shit job of being inconspicuous. You might as well have just straight up told Calum that you were feeling horny, because I'm pretty sure even he could tell exactly what was going on."
I laughed and shook my head, too engulfed in how adorable Luke looked when he was flustered to be offended by his hollow insults.
"Why do you do this to me?"
I knew he wasn't actually agitated. He was just trying to make me feel bad. I smiled. "Oh, don't act like you aren't thrilled."
"Thrilled is a bit of an understatement," Luke muttered. "I haven't been able to get you out of my head since we... You know."
I blushed slightly before nodding. "Yeah, me either," I admitted quietly.
There was a pause as Luke started the car down the street toward home, and I could feel the awkwardness hanging heavy in the air, so I decided to break up the tension by putting my hand on Luke's thigh.
"What are you doing?" Luke breathed.
"Nothing," I grinned, sliding my hand up a bit farther.
"Well, don't you think the foreplay can at least wait until I'm not trying to focus on driving a car? Because the thought of getting us killed isn't a huge turn on for me."
"Just consider this the foreplay before the foreplay," I chuckled, amused at how frustrated he looked when my hand glided across the already hardening bulge under his jeans.
"Cut it out, Lucey. I'm serious," he growled. This time I drew my hands back a little and bit my lip.
I began tracing innocent circles on his knee with my thumb, trying to pass the time until I saw our house in the distance. My nerves began to act up a little as Luke parked the car and got out. When I went to open the door, my hands were shaking.
It's not that I was regretting what I had done or anything, but Luke and I had only had only had sex one other time, and it had been gentle and slow. I was just worried that things might get a little more daring considering the circumstances, and I really didn't want to have another embarrassing panic attack.
"You okay?" Luke asked as we stepped inside.
I clenched and unclenched my fists a few times to relieve my nerves. "Yeah, I'm good."
"Good," I heard him rasp out before I was pushed up against the doorframe, his body pressed to mine. "Such a tease, Lu... Such a fucking tease," he growled as he kissed his way down my neck.
I let out something that sounded like a moan, but was really more of a gasp as I ran my fingers up his chest and shoulder before tangling in the hair at the back of his head. He mumbled something that I couldn't quite make out, but I already knew what he wanted. I jumped and wrapped my legs securely around his slim waist so that he could move both of us to the bedroom, mentally preparing myself for what was about to come. No pun intended. Unfortunately, we didn't make it that far, because Luke tripped over his own feet and landed on top of me on the couch.
"Smooth," I laughed, my nerves beginning to calm.
"Shut up." He rolled his eyes and continued his assault on my neck, hands slowly making their way under my up my dress, pushing it above my waist and running along my stomach.
Deciding that things needed to pick up the pace a bit, rather than going excruciatingly slow an increasing my risk of a breakdown, I sat up and pulled off my dress, giving Luke time to do the same before I closed the space between us and bit his bottom lip as I undid the button of his black skinny jeans.
"Damn you and your tight pants," I hissed, struggling to slide them over his hips.
He let out a breathy laugh and leaned back to remove them and save me the trouble. His hands slid back up my stomach, this time taking their time to slide painfully slow across my bra before reaching behind me to unlatch it. I arched my back to give him access as he tugged it off and tossed it to the floor. Then he redirected his kisses to my chest, letting his hands wander down to the waistband of my lacy underwear. A shiver ran up my spine as he hooked a finger on either side and drug them down my legs where they fell to the ground.
Luke drew back, giving me a chance to spot the purple bruises forming on my delicate skin that would thankfully be able to be covered by a shirt. He looked down at me, searching my eyes for any hesitation, and when he found none, he let his hand wander down between my legs. I immediately tensed up, but soon relaxed under his touch and released a soft moan. I had forgotten how good it felt to be treated with respect. However, it didn't take long for me to grow impatient, and I pushed Luke off and motioned to the boxers he still wore.
"Those need to come off," I instructed, feeling a little better about the situation as long as I was in control. It wasn't that I had some secret dominatrix fetish or anything, but I just felt a lot safer knowing I could call the shots. He nodded quickly before removing his last article of clothing. Luke looked at me once more for permission, and I nodded hesitantly, signaling him proceed. He began to nudge my knees apart and position himself between them.
I whimpered quietly and wrapped my legs around his waist for support, taking deep breaths and closing my eyes. He entered me very carefully, but it wasn't long before his thrusts sped up and I found myself gripping his shoulders for dear life and clawing my short nails down his back. A thick groan escaped his throat and before I knew it, we were both sighing in unison as we rode out our highs together. I heard him whisper my name breathlessly as his head fell to the crook of my neck, and I silently thanked God that I was able to maintain composure.
I smiled to myself as I felt his rearming even out as he fell asleep. We had certainly shared an intimate moment, which Luke had enjoyed without a doubt, but it was even more special for me, because I felt that I had finally reached a milestone in our relationship. For the first time since Matt, I was able to be with someone without having to fear punishment or abuse. I could finally experience something I'd only ever read about or seen on television; what it was like to feel an emotional connection to someone you are involved with physically.
And darling, it was good.
