leaving your first love is always never too easy , but leaving someone whom you dated over 2 years makes it super painful. Ahreum requested a breakup between her and Jinyoung. reason was only known by her. although Jinyoung still has no idea why she wanted a break up , he respected her decision even though he was hurt badly from that.

Ahreum can't seem to stop thinking of Jinyoung. almost everything she does reminded her of the times with Jinyoung. not surprising since they spent over 2 years together. it was another day of being depressed. she didn't throw any of the pictures she had with Jinyoung , neither the gifts he gave her. tears fell down from her eyes down to her cheeks as she looked throw the photos she had with Jinyoung. "i promise , i will smile if i see you as if nothing happened." she whispered while smiling painfully to herself.

she misses him , that's for sure. but whenever she wants to contact him , she always curses at herself ; calling her a fool. she gave him so much pain when they were together that their relationship was becoming toxic. she knew it was her who needed the change for the relationship to be healthy. she also knew Jinyoung was trying to change himself to get along with her. she was going through a hard time which resulted in her change of attitude. her dad left her mom at a young age and her mom recently died of cervical cancer ; leaving her alone. she has college entrance exams to study for as well so everything was coming at her all at once. she started throwing tantrums , having really bad mood swings , relieving her stress on Jinyoung. how you'd ask? by screaming , crying , making him feel sympathetic for her , ordering him around.

it was like she's on drugs that never wore out.

she regret those actions after doing them and was getting tired of her actions towards him. she hated herself for treating Jinyoung like that. she didn't want him to suffer anymore. she told herself she deserved the pain because of how much pain she gave him when they were together. she reminisced the words she told him on the day they broke up.

"you need to meet someone better than me and be happy , but i hope not to the point where you will forget me."

she can still vividly remembers Jinyoung's teary face when she told him those hurtful words. and that only made her feel like a jerk. self-harming was the only escape that made her feel better for a short period of time. now , she's no longer a stranger to being alone. she decided she should go to the place where they first met to make her feel even sadder than she is now.

on the other hand , Jinyoung was already at the place. "i miss you..why did you change your number and block me from all your social media platforms.." he sobbed while he looked stared at a selfie they took in Jeju. although he let her go easily , his heart was still tied with her. he already spent an hour here. his eyes were puffy from crying continuously earlier on. he got up exhaling a deep sigh before walking back slowly to his place. on his way , he saw someone familiar.

his eyes lit up when he saw her. she froze upon making eye contact with him. it was as if the whole world stopped the time for them. "i..i found you.." Jinyoung cried happy tears. walking towards her , increasing his pace , his heart shattered upon seeing her step back , turning around to leave. she was running. he knew that if he let her disappear infront of him , he might not see her ever again. that thinking made him run quickly towards her , giving a back hug to her tiny build. he could hear her sobbing.

"please don't leave me..i can't live without you." Jinyoung begged. "let me go..i'm a monster.." she pushed his arms that were around her waist away and turned to face him. "you deserve happiness , and i don't..leave me please." Ahreum said before she turned to leave. "you're my happiness! if i deserve happiness , come back to me please Ahreum. i wish all these was just a horrible nightmare." Jinyoung cried. Ahreum kept walking while she cried.

at this place when they very first met , she can't forget about him ; can't forget about..them.
