" When you've been fighting for it all your life

You've been struggling to make things right "

***Calum's POV***

"We are having a gig tonight and I hope you come with us", Ash said to my girlfriend.

"Sure, wouldn't miss it for the world" She smiled sweetly and I have her hand a squeeze. Sometimes I got a bit jealous that Chrissy was so open with the boys. We haven't really found out why she could talk to them but they got really close friends. We both haven't told them why she was so "shy" in the beginning. Event though I was jealous I was also happy to see her interact with my band mates.

Chrissy always seemed overly excited when we had a gig. She was truly happy for us, which I found totally sweet. I was happy that she liked the boys and was happy for us, because that meant I had less to worry about when it comes to her. Not that she was complicated to handle.

"We're going to practise, you can stay here and watch or do something else, up to you", Michael said to Chrissy.

"I'm going to go chat with my parents" She gave me kiss on the lips before she left and I heard the boys wolf-whistling. "Shut up", she said before leaving. I felt she was a complete different person here.

"How long are you together now?", Luke asked.

"Three years in two weeks", I smiled proudly.

"Have you fucked yet?", Michael asked, leave it up to him to ask those questions. I nodded shyly and felt myself blushing.

We started practising our beweist song and after we finished I went to see Chrissy. She was sitting in our shared room, her hair over her face, a book in her hands.

She was so beautiful sitting there with her nerdy glasses on her nose. I jumped onto the bed next to her and heard her scream a little.

"You're scaring me"

"I'm sorry", I apologised and nuzzled my head in her neck. "What are you reading?"

"The fault in our stars", she mumbled.

"What's that about?", I asked and sighing she put her book away.

"Two kids who have cancer. A boy and a girl"

"A cancer-love-story? Isn't that total cliché?"

"It's not cliché. It's a wonderful book which shows the feelings of the cancer-patients perfectly", she protested.

"Okay, okay. Can you read it to me?" I smiled at her and she sighed again.

"From the beginning?" I nodded and she opened her book, cleared her throat and started reading.

The book actually was good, or how I could say it the few pages we have read until the boys came into the room.

"Calum, you have to get ready, now. We're leaving in fifteen minutes", Luke said. I nodded and shooed them outta my room.

"What should I wear?", Chrissy asked.

"A dress maybe? We're going clubbing afterwards, only if you want to" she nodded and quickly changed into a tight, navi blue dress that went just over the middle of her tight. The top-cut was surprisingly low. She wasn't prude, but I knew she wasn't really that kind of girl who would go clubbing.

I saw her pulling out her make-up-back and drew a black line on her lid. Then she put something on her lashes and painted her lips in a light red. She looked sexy, really sexy.

I had changed into black, ripped jeans and a black Nirvana shirt. I quickly took her hand and pulled her into the practise room where I got my bass and the speaker and packed it into the boxes.

"Need a hand?", she asked but I shook my head. "Are you taking the bus?"

"No, Liz is going to drive" Liz was Luke's mum and she was super sweet and she drove us to gigs.

"But there won't be a seat for me" I just winked and she blushes lightly.

We went to Liz' car and placed all our instruments in it, then we took our seats, Chrissy on my lap, obviously.

The show went really good and after the show, we were all sweaty, we took a short shower and went (by foot) to the club which owner we knew and who would always let us in, even though we weren't allowed to drink, neither going clubbing. But we played a few a gigs there and so the owner let us at least dance there.

I explained that all to Chrissy because she was wondering how we could go in a club.

"Good morning, sleepyhead", I said and gave her light kisses all over her face. "I have to tell you something!" I cheered and she opened her eyes, still sleepy. "Are you ready?" She nodded sleepy.

"We just got a call that we are going to accompany One Direction on their take me home tour next year"

"Really?! That is fantastic", she cheered and hugged me. "I'm so happy for you"

"And they're coming to Australia in two weeks to get everything ready, and you will meet them then. I got everything ready"

"Really? Thank you so much" She hugged me tighter and I chuckled.

"Always honey", I said and kissed her hair.
