Our little daughter was shouting and crying in the background while I tied my bow tie and fixed my hair. I was nervous, but I wouldn't let it show, because the boys will make fun of me. It was the day of the rehearsal dinner, that meant it was two days before the wedding. Tomorrow would be the bachealor party. I was kinda afraid of what the boys were going to do - I had no say in it - but it would be unforgettable, anyways.
The fans were taking the whole marriage thing quite good. Better than I expected. Sure, there was hate. There would always be hate, but the fans loved Angle, our little daughter, and knew that we loved each other. I appreciated that they were so calm about it. But I wasn't. My hands were shaking.
"Cal, are you ready?", Chrissy asked and I nodded, still fumbling with my bow tie. "I'll help you" She took the bow tie in her hands and quickly fixed it. "Beautiful, as always" She pecked my lips. I felt her slightly shaking under my touch.
"Not as beautiful as you" She smiled, blushing slightly. I was glad, that after all this time, I could still get her to blush.
"Ready?"
"Ready when you are"
I stuck my ellbow out and she took it. Like in that stupid love films, but it felt right placed.
My heart was beating faster and I could see Chrissy shaking a bit while we went into the room were the dinner would be. Angle was on Chrissy's arm, looking around and smiling at the people, she had Chrissy's face. Chrissy wore a pretty, silver-ish dress, and Angle wore a matching one.
Music was playing lightly in the background and we sat down at the table with our families and the boys.
"Say something", Chrissy whispered in my ear and handed me the microphone.
"So- er - I don't really know what to say-", I stuttered, "First of all thank you all for coming. I- we " I smiled at Chrissy, who was holding my hand under the table. "We appreciate your support and that you are here, for our wedding weekend. Chrissy, I love you so much and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you" People were 'aww'-ing and cheering when I sat back down.
"Congratulations", I heard from every corner of the big room.
"Oh- I frogot the most important thing: the buffet is open!" I kissed the corner of Chrissy's mouth and layed the microphone down. We got up togehter and got us something to eat.
The dinner was going wonderful. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the food was amazing.
***Chrissy´s POV***
After we ate my mum came over to me and dragged me out of the room in a small corridor.
"Have you told him yet?", she asked and looked me dead in the eyes. I lightly shook my head. "You should tell Calum. He deserves to know"
"What do I deserve to know?", a voice said behind me and I spun around. Shit. Shit. Fuck. I though, he isnt supposed to know. Not yet, at least.My mum pulled up her eyebrows, indicating that I should tell him.
"That I love you very very much", I said and smiled. I just hoped it saved the situation.
"I know you were talking about something else.", he said, concern clear in his voice. He lightly pulled me away from my mum in another corridor. "What is this all about, Chrissy. I´m worried about you. Can you please tell me. You know you can tell me everything. You´re my future wife. Please" His face and his voice was laced with concern and it broke my heart seeing him like this. "Please", he whispered.
"C-Can I tell you this evening. I don´t want to ruin this dinner. I- I love you so much. I´m so sorry. I´m so sorry" When I looked him in the eyes my heart shattered to pieces. "I should have told you earlier, but, it never was the right time. Please lets just wait ´til this evening, ´til dinner is over, please?"
"I´m worried, Chrissy. I don´t know if I can get through this dinner without knowing what this is about." Trust me, it´s better this way, then knowing what this is about, I wanted to say but I kept my mouth shut. "I really want toknow. But if you´re not comftable with telling me now, that´s okay too. I just want you to know that I´m always there for you. Always. Until the very end Okay? Remember that? Promise me?" And then he stuck out his pinky finger and smiled at me with tears visible in his eyes. I smiled too and locked our pinky´s.
"Thank you", I said and kissed him.
"I can´t believe you´re gonna be truly mine in two days"
"I was from the beginning, Cal"
"Oh my god, get a room", Mikey screamed from behind us and tackeld us to the ground. A few minutes we just layed there, on top of each other and laughed.
"I wanna cuddle too", Ash screamed and I felt another body pressing us down.
"Can´t. Breath.", I gasped and the boys got up quickly. "Thanks", I whispered.
"I´m the only one who gets to cuddle Chrissy anyway", Calum protested and snug an arm around my waist.
"In your dreams, Hood", I laughed but rested my head on his shoulder anyway.
"Group hug", Luke - whereever he just came from - exclaimed. And with that I found myslef in a massive group hug pressed to four boys.
"Let´s go back in, okay?", I asked after a while and felt the boys going away and the oxygen was finally circulating in my lungs again. More or less.
After the dinner was over and we were finally home again, and brought Angle to bed, Calum sat down we with me on our bed.
"You wanted to tell me something", he said, trying to act calm, but I saw his hands shaking and heard the little twist his voice got when he was afraid.
"It´s kinda complicated", I strated and then I told him the story. I had tears in my eyes and Calum was crying. "I´m sorry", I whispered over and over again.
(and i´m sorry too (uh, smoth lara, real smooth). I haven´t updated in FOREVER and i´m reallly really srry i can´t describe how sorry i am.
