Third Person's P.O.V
As you stared at the man before you, you realized he was one of the Liones knights that murdered your father. Your body became tense and your happy expression turned to one full of hatred for the holy knight.
"Meliodas...he is one of the knights who killed my father." You spoke softly and held onto his arm with anger in your
e/c eyes.
"So you're Miss Y/n L/n...the one I was ordered to capture. If I couldn't get you then I was supposed to get Princess Elizabeth." Guilthunder had no emotion in his eyes as he ran towards you. Meliodas easily blocked his attack and got in his battle stance.
"I won't let you near any of them little Gil~" Meliodas tried to stay cheerful but you knew he was holding back his emotions. Guilthunder was a precious friend to him.
"Sir Meliodas...! Please do not hurt Guilthunder! He was like a brother to me!!" Elizabeth shouted while eyeing the man she trusted and you felt how sad she was.
"Elizabeth! Y/n! Let's go!!" Hawk shouted but you couldn't bare to leave your new friend and Meliodas.
"I won't! Elizabeth...you leave with Hawk right now!!" You shouted firmly and saw them both nod in understanding then running away moments later.
"Diane stay by N/n's side!!" Meliodas shouted as he threw your body into her hands so you'd be safe.
"On it captain!" Diane smiled at you so you wouldn't worry but you couldn't shake the feeling of dread away. Meliodas was fighting Guilthunder while you could only safely sit back and watch.
"Meliodas..." You muttered to yourself and watched their battle. You hated feeling useless and desperately wanted to help him.
"I am more powerful than any of the Seven Deadly Sins!!" Guilthunder shouted firmly and kept slashing his sword at Meliodas who tried to dodge most of his attacks.
"I admit you have gotten a lot stronger~ But can you really defeat me?" Meliodas smiled and you were surprised once he noticed he let Guilthunder slash his shoulder. Blood poured out and tears fell from your eyes when he fell to the ground weakly.
"Meliodas!!" You screamed and jumped down from Diane's grasp then started running to his body. You held Meliodas in your arms as Guilthunder walked closer to you both.
"You bastard...how dare you hurt the captain!!" Diane glared angrily at Guilthunder who payed no attention to her and focused his gaze on you.
"Lady Y/n L/n, secret daughter of Zaratras. He kept you hidden from the world so no one would know the power you possessed..." Guilthunder's words were a big shock to you. The man who raised you wasn't your father by blood...but a man who worked for the king.
"Zaratras was never my father! I never met him!!" You shouted and held onto Meliodas tighter with tears falling from your eyes.
"Come with me and their lives will be spared Lady Y/n...however that means you are my sister so I say come with me." Guilthunder reached for you but Meliodas slapped his hand away and you noticed how angry he looked.
"Don't touch her...not until I die. Just tell me the locations of the other sin's...then you can have her." Meliodas spoke softly and it broke your heart to hear him speak about you like some prize.
"Ban is in Bastate prison, and rumor has it King is dead and stays in the Necropolis. As for the others, I don't know." Once he finished speaking, Meliodas kicked him far away from your current location.
"Can't believe he fell for that~ I'm not even dieing!" Meliodas chuckled cheerfully and you backed away from him with hurt written all over your face.
"Captain you hurt Y/n with that lie!" Diane shouted and saw you couldn't even look at him.
"I'm fine...now let's go find Princess Elizabeth and Hawk." You spoke firmly and walked to the direction they had run off to. Meliodas tried talking to you but you kept away from him. His words couldn't leave your head...you were hurting.
