Y/n's P.O.V
Meliodas, Ban, King, Hawk, and I entered Vaizel. It was crowded! Meliodas was holding onto my hand the whole time. Ever since the incident in the Necropolis he's been really protective.
"I can't believe you actually went shirtless with an apron." Meliodas commented calmly as he looked around Vaizel.
"I had nothing else to wear and you told me to captain~!" Ban whined and I let out a chuckle, it wouldn't be the same without Ban and Meliodas' bickering.
"You two are so annoying!" King shouted as he floated beside us while clutching onto his pillow.
"I'm going to go sell some of the ale I brought with me~!" Hawk declared as he soon walked away from us. After a few minutes of hearing their bickering we see Diane's sacred treasure against a large boulder with a man standing beside it.
"Excuse me sir but what is this for?" I question politely as he explains there will be a fighting festival and the grand prize is a million jewel plus the giant hammer.
"Oooh let's join the fighting festival~!" Ban declared eagerly while King just sweatdropped. Even if he acted annoyed I knew he was having fun.
"Let's go sign up~!" Meliodas shouted happily and I knew he was strong enough to lift the hammer and we could make a run for it. Both him and Ban just wanted to have fun.
"I'll watch all of you fight!" I smile as we started walking towards the crowd. I stayed in that area while the others were signing up. Before they did I saw an old man signing up...he seemed familiar somehow.
~Flashback~
"Hey Barzard! Ready to train?!" N/n shouted with a playful smirk. Cain Barzard just laughed as he got ready to fight.
"Don't go easy on me just because I'm an old man~" Barzard teased as they started to clash swords. Meliodas was on the sidelines watching us with a cheerful smile.
"Go N/n~!" He shouted cheerfully while clapping.
~Flashback Ends~
Cain Barzard...who are you to me? A friend? Mentor...? And just what are these flashbacks or dreams...?
"Now let's get Diane's sacred treasure back~!" I heard Meliodas say to Ban and King as they stood on the place they were all going to fight. I know they'll all do great...I have faith.
