Once I saw Diane hurt and found out not only Helbram was involved but so was Dreyfus...I had to take them down. How dare they hurt her!?
"You hurt Diane...I will never forgive you!!" I shouted angrily and was about to attack but was stopped by Howzer and Guila.
"We tried protecting Diane as best we could...let us handle grand master Dreyfus!" Howzer shouted and I nodded in agreement. There's still a score to settle between me and Helbram...from so long ago.
"It's been so long Harlequin~ What are you doing here with a giant?" Helbram smirked in his old form. I clenched my fist at the way he talked about Diane...I can't let him know his words are getting to me.
"What about you Helbram? Being in that form all the time tires you out doesn't it?" I spat and smirked when I noticed he got annoyed with my words. A puff of smoke surrounded him as he changed into his true form.
"Kinda ironic you've been traveling with Lady Y/n as well as those other sinners. Thought you hated humans Harlequin~?" Helbram sounded so hateful when he said humans...is he still thinking about back then? I not only killed him once...I met Diane.
~Flashback~
"Wake up Harlequin~!" Young Diane shouted as she kept on poking my cheek. When I woke up she couldn't stop smiling at me.
"Yay you're not dead!" She shouted happily then picked me up to cuddle me close to her cheek.
"A-Ah Diane!!" I stuttered with a blush on my face. Once she let me go I began to remember that she had found me by the river. We had told each other our names before I had fallen unconscious.
"So you were dreaming about sleeping? You must really love your sleep then!" Young Diane giggled as she ate her favorite meal, pork. I couldn't help but blush at how cute she looked. Moments later two small golems came walking up to us and Diane made spheres of dirt in front of them.
"You guys eat too~!" Young Diane smiled at her golems. I never knew she could do that much at such a young age. She's gifted!
"I never knew you could create golems Diane! Well then again I heard giants have a strong connection to the earth." I commented with a smile as I bit into my apple.
"Well they can't talk they just do what I say...so that's why I'm happy I met you Harlequin!" Young Diane couldn't stop smiling at me...meeting me changed her life. She did the same for me as well...
"Someday be my friend~!"
"What are you talking about? We're already friends!"
Young Diane really was a bundle of energy...she was the light in my life.

"Diane hang in there!! I'll go get some herbs!!" I shouted as I tried to fly away but was stopped by Diane. Even with a fever...she didn't want to let me go.
"Harlequin...don't go...please..." Young Diane muttered weakly as she pulled me to her chest. I struggled to break free of her grasp. If I don't help her soon...she might die from her fever.
"Diane I'm serious! I have to go!!" I shouted and soon I heard some footsteps from the entrance of the cave we were in. I looked up and saw a teenage human girl. She had l/s {long or short} h/c hair.
"A fairy and giant? What an odd combination!" She giggled happily as she walked up to his with a gentle smile on her face. Diane had fallen asleep so I had managed to escape her tight grasp.
"Who are you!?" I shouted as I got ready to fight in order to protect Diane from a stranger.
"I'm not your enemy, I am Y/n. I am the herbalist at the town nearby. I can help cure the sick giant." Even if I was so rude to the human girl...she still continued to smile and offered to help Diane so of course I agreed. She even made soup for all of us.
"Thank you for helping Diane, I owe you one." I spoke softly with a small smile on my face. I wasn't worried anymore now that Diane's fever wasn't as bad as before.
"You don't need to thank me Harlequin, I'm just happy to help people when I can. Oh, I love your name by the way." Y/n giggled happily and soon gasped. I titled my head in confusion as she began to pack up her stuff.
"Are you okay?" I question as she nodded with a gentle smile.
"I have to get back to my lover Meli~ He's probably so worried about me! Bye Bye Harlequin and make sure Diane eats!" Y/n shouted before running out of the cave. That was the last time...I ever saw Y/n again.

~TimeSkip~
I remembered everything...Elaine, Helbram, and...my duty as the king of the fairies.
"Diane...I have to go. I promise I will come back to you though!" I shouted with determination in my eyes. She looked sad but nodded in understanding.
"Come back soon...Harlequin." Young Diane muttered as I began flying off to the village nearby. Earlier I saw smoke coming from it and it was indeed the man who killed all my fairy friends...he was destroying this town.
"How are you still alive...after all these years!?" I shouted and a puff of smoke surrounded him. Helbram took his place...but how?
"I thought that man killed you...after he had pushed you off that cliff. So I killed him and took on his form. I hate humans so much!! They killed them Harlequin!! They ripped off their wings to sell on the black market!! I WILL KILL ALL HUMANS FOREVER AND EVER!! I CAN'T STOP HEARING THEIR SCREAMS-" I had no choice...but to stab Helbram. I needed to end his suffering.
"Rest easy...Helbram." I mutter softly as he smiled weakly at me. Once he passed away I held his body close to me. I killed my best friend...I couldn't let him continue living like that.
~Flashback Ends~
I had snapped out of my thoughts and noticed Dreyfus had escaped. Guila and Howzer were near Diane all hurt.
"Die!!!" Helbram shouted as he was close to kill them but I encased them in a barrier.
"Our wounds..."
"They're going away...!"
Helbram looked angrily towards me as his sword was pointed directly towards me.
"How?... Why is the Sacred Tree still lending you strength!? I thought it would've abandoned you by now!!" Helbram shouted but I kept a calm composure as my wounds began to heal as well.
"The sacred tree doesn't have a sense of good nor evil. I thought you would've remembered that Helbram." I spoke firmly with determination in my eyes. I have to kill him...again.
"After 700 years...do you still want to purge the world of the human race?" I question and he started laughing crazily. He's gone mad...
"I CAN'T STOP ANYMORE!!!!" Helbram screamed as he controlled his sword to slash at me but I kept blocking it with Chastifol. It kept on going for a while but the more Helbram screamed...the more of his pain I could feel.
"It's all right...Helbram." I mutter softly before impaling him with my Chastifol. He smiled at me as he fell to the ground. I flew down to his body with guilt in my eyes. He was reaching for his helmet so I put it on his chest.
"The helmet...was supposed to be a present for you. I'm a fool...looking at it closely it doesn't look stylish." Helbram muttered weakly as he looked into my eyes with. Even after everything he's done...he's my best friend. I don't want him to suffer...
"That's right...you are a fool!" I shouted as tears started dripping down my cheeks. Helbram continued to smile before dying before my eyes. I closed his eyes for him so he'd be at rest now...then wiped my tears away. As I floated over to Diane I noticed that she was finally awake.
"Are you okay now?"
"Yeah...thanks King."
Diane muttered tiredly with a small small on her face. I smiled as well, I felt relieved she wasn't injured.
"Harlequin...that name sounds nostalgic to me. But why...? I-I can't remember..." Diane spoke softly and I smiled even more...deep in her heart she still holds the memories we shared from back then.
"It was a dream...I bet it was from a dream you had." There's still something we have to do...save Y/n from the holy knights.
