Chapter 39: The Courage Charm

Meliodas' P.O.V
I can feel Y/n's presence inside the castle...but I can't go there on my own. I have to fight Guilthunder while Arthur who just arrived moments ago fights Hendrickson.
"Elizabeth...can you go into the castle to find Y/n?" I spoke firmly as I glared at Guilthunder with determination in my eyes. I want to see Y/n already..
"Of course! Stay safe Sir Meliodas!" Elizabeth shouted as she started running into the castle. I can only hope that she finds Y/n before that mage gets to her first...
"It would be wise to just give up without a fight, your punishment for disobeying would be Y/n's head." Guilthunder spoke calmly and I rushed at him without hesitation. I wouldn't let him anywhere near her...
"I won't let you touch Y/n...and she's your sister! Would Zaratras really be proud of you for killing her?!" I shouted angrily and continued slashing my sword at him. I need to buy some time...I know the truth. He's under a spell and so is Margaret.
Y/n...wait for me.

Y/n's P.O.V
I ran into a room and on the bed was...the king!? Why would the holy knights treat him like this?
"King Baltra...?" I muttered softly as I walked up to him with worry in my eyes. He looked very ill...
"Y/n...daughter of Zaratras. You've grown...he would be so proud." Baltra spoke tiredly as he hugged me. Why can't I remember anything about my life with Zaratras...? I want to remember...everything.
"King Baltra...maybe my magic can help you! You can't die like this..." I started to cry...for someone I don't even know.
"I know of the abilities you have...and it might work but then they will sense you." Baltra muttered and I nodded in understanding. Even if that happened...I don't care. I can't just let him die like this!
"I will save you!" I declared firmly as I concentrated on the king as I felt the light in my hands. However...I feel a warm light beside me.
"I'm proud of you...Y/n." Hearing that man's voice in my head...made my heart ache. Who is he...?

~Flashback~
"Sweetie you're not old enough for me to train you yet!" Zaratras tries to reason with me as I tightly held onto a wooden sword.
"I don't care father, train me pretty please?" I begged as he kept insisting I wasn't ready yet and once I can wield a sword he will definitely train me.
~Flashback Ends~

I remember everything...I remember the life I had as I was raised by Zaratras. Mother died giving birth to me and he didn't hate me for it and neither did Guilthunder. They accepted me into the family...
"You saved me...I'm eternally grateful." Baltra smiled as he sat up from the bed. That's when Elizabeth came running into the room and smiled when she saw the king.
"Father!!" Elizabeth smiled happily as she ran up and hugged the king tightly and he did the same. A father and daughter are reunited...I'm jealous.
"There you are Lady Y/n~ I was wondering when you would use your powers again so I could sense you~ Come with me and I won't hurt the princess or the king." I remember who the woman was now...she was obsessed with Guilthunder.
"I know who you are...Vivian!" I shouted and that's when she took off her helmet. I glared angrily at her as I stood in front of both Elizabeth and the king. I can't let them die...
"Just because you've remembered doesn't mean-" Vivian had stopped talking as she looked at the window as if she was listening to someone's orders...perhaps Hendrickson? And with that she vanished!
"Elizabeth stay here with the king! I'm going to see Meliodas...!" I shouted as I ran out of the room. Wait...where is Margaret? She could be in danger...! I started looking for her and eventually found her on a balcony in a random room in the castle.
"Guilthunder just stop already!!" Margaret shouted loudly as he started leaning off the edge as if she was about to fall off.
"Margaret!!" I shouted as I held her close as we started falling from the window. I looked down to see Meliodas fighting Guilthunder...he came for me like I knew he would.
"Why...? Y/n you..." Margaret muttered as I smiled at her. She can't die so easily like this...
"Y/n!!!" Meliodas shouted as he used an attack to destroy what looked to be a small beast beside us, I can't believe I didn't realize it was there.
"You're safe." A calm voice spoke and when I looked in the direction it came from it was a cloaked woman using magic to gently set Margaret and I down to the ground.
"Thank you!" I smiled and blushed when Meliodas came running then pulled me close. Hendrickson glared at us while Guilthunder went to Margaret. Vivian was also beside Hendrickson as well...but at least I'm reunited with Meliodas.
"I knew you'd come for me idiot..." I mutter softly as I returned the hug happily. Meliodas chuckled and moments later he looked at the cloaked woman.
"You should reveal yourself now don't you think?" Meliodas spoke cheerfully and once the woman yanked off her cloak I recognized her from the wanted posters. The boar sin of gluttony...Merlin!
