Y/n's P.O.V
It had only been a day since Hendrickson was defeated and the kingdom of Liones was slowly rebuilding itself. I still can't forget what happened during that fight...Meliodas looked lost as I activated my powers to that extent together with Elizabeth. I wonder...could he hate my powers?
"Y/n! Are you alright?" I snapped out of my thoughts to see Elizabeth. She looked worried about me..
"I'm just thinking about Meliodas is all, do you know where he went?" I question softly as a smile made it's way to my lips.
"Sir Meliodas is training with Guilthunder at the training grounds. Want me to take you there?" I shook my head since I knew where the training grounds were and ran off. When I got there I saw Meliodas beat Guilthunder with ease.
"As always you're too strong to beat." Guilthunder sighed as he stood up from the ground, and despite losing the match he was smiling.
"You're getting better little Gil~ Don't give up kay~?" Meliodas chuckled happily with that usual smile of his. I want to spend time with him but...I never got to confront Guilthunder. My biological brother..
"Meliodas! I want to spend time with you but I wanna talk with Guilthunder first." Meliodas nodded in understanding as he put away the broken blade he had.
"I'll be waiting inside the castle then~" As Meliodas walked away I looked at Guilthunder...his eyes were filled with guilt but happiness as well.
"Guilthunder...I'm sure by now you've realized I remember everything. About you and father..." I mutter sadly and watched him nod his head. I remember father gave me up...around the time mother died. When I was old enough...no visits from either of them.
"Y/n...I'm truly sorry. Not only for the trouble I've caused but for not visiting you sooner. Mother died giving birth to you and father was heartbroken but that wasn't the reason he gave you up. He loved you dearly but...he didn't want you to have this life. In mother's final moments she said she wanted you to have a peaceful life away from fighting. That's why father gave you to a close friend...and we were to scared to ever visit you. We were cowards...please forgive us." Guilthunder fell to his knees as tears dripped down his cheeks. I began to cry as well as I walked closer to Guilthunder and hugged him.
"I'm hurt by what happened...but I forgive you and father. If I hadn't been given up then I wouldn't be able to travel with Meliodas and the others. I would've been under Hendrickson's rule and would hurt them. I'm happy with the way things turned out, and I'm happy we got to talk like that big brother.." Guilthunder chuckled a bit as he returned the hug. This is the path I've chosen...a future with Meliodas.
"You should probably get going sis. Meliodas is waiting for you~" Guilthunder teased as he helped me stand after he stood up himself. I blushed at the thought and playfully punched his shoulder.
"Well Margaret is waiting for you~" I chuckled and began walking into the castle and saw Meliodas. He ran towards me and groped me despite the maids watching.
"I missed you~" Meliodas smirked pervertedly and as a result a blush began to appear on my cheeks.
"P-Pervert!" I blurted out as I punched him to the ground, I did my best to ignore the soft giggles coming from the maids.
"The festival should be starting soon~ Let's go!" Meliodas smiled cheerfully as he gently grabbed onto my hand. For hours we wandered the festival together. The more time I spent with Meliodas...the more I realized how much I truly love him.
"The night sky looks so beautiful!" I commented with a smile on my face. Meliodas chuckled as he pulled me closer to him. I blushed at but didn't mind the contact and soon leaned my head on his shoulder.
"I love you Y/n~" Meliodas smiled happily as he started leaning closer till our lips met. After the kiss I was a blushing mess but didn't care, it was Meliodas after all.
"I love you too Meliodas, always!" After we relaxed for a while under the starry night sky we started walking back to the bar. Bartra knew I preferred being there anyway and made Meliodas promise to always protect me but that's a given.
"Hey Y/n~ Do you think you can head back on your own? There's something I need to take care of." I wonder what's so important that Meliodas had to leave. I was enjoying our time together..
"O-Oh sure! Come back soon though okay?" Meliodas nodded with a cheerful smile and I saw him walk into some secret passageway. I could stop wondering what was down there. I followed him but made sure I was hidden so he wouldn't notice me. There was a giant horn that begun glowing when Meliodas got close to it.
"Well what do we have here? I see that he failed to kill you...Meliodas~" A voice was coming from the horn itself? The presence I felt coming from the horn...it felt heavenly. Could it be a goddess inhabiting the horn?
"What's up? Been a long time hasn't it?" How could Meliodas know a goddess was inhabiting the horn? I could tell he hated her...I noticed from the way he spoke to her.
"You haven't changed a bit since I last saw you 3000 years ago, how incredibly amusing~ What in the world are you doing here? If you've come to resume that battle we waged...I'm sorry I no longer have a physical body~" If the goddess and Meliodas met 3000 years ago...how is Meliodas still alive?
"That's not it! I'm here because I want you to stop filling my friends head with all those lives!! A goddess can't revive the dead!" Meliodas shouted with such anger that it made me wonder just what did the goddess do that angered him this much? Most of all...why did I feel like running away hearing the goddess speak?
"Your friend? Never have we goddesses , the giants, the humans, or the fairies been your friends~ Which means you don't have a single ally in this world. Least of all among your own demon kingsmen~ Such a pitiful cursed child you are...those who adore you, those who believe in you, and those whom you yourself love will surely leave you. This...I can promise~ When they find out what heinous sin you've considered-" The goddess had suddenly stopped talking as Meliodas summoned a lot of demonic energy. He launched it towards the horn and watched it being slowly destroyed. Even as that was happening...the goddess didn't stop laughing. What did she mean by what she said...? Cursed child? Sin...? Just what is Meliodas hiding...?
"Even if that's true...there's someone I must protect with my life if I have too! And to accomplish that goal...I will fight even if I have to turn everyone against me!!" Meliodas shouted with anger and as he started walking away from the burning horn...his emerald orbs were filled with such determination. Once I was sure he was gone I walked up to the horn and it faintly glowed despite being in demonic flames.
"So you're here as well huh? Y/n I will never forget you." How does the goddess know of me...? I've never met her before...
"How do you know me? And...how dare you act so coldly towards Meliodas?!" I shouted firmly as I clenched my fist. The goddess laughed and I didn't understand why..
"Meliodas is an enemy and so are you~ Never forget that no matter where you go...WE are always watching you." Before I could ask what she meant by that the horn exploded into a million pieces. I blacked out from the impact...all I could think about was Meliodas. I want to see him...
