Chapter 37: The First Sacrifice

Y/n's P.O.V
By the time I opened my eyes I was in a cell...being away from Meliodas...I just can't bare it.
"Y/n!" I looked down to see Hawk beside me and I smiled as I went to hug him. At least I'm not alone...
"I'm so glad you're here Hawk! Do you have any idea how we can escape?" I question as I looked at the metal door. Maybe with my magic...I can blast it open or maybe Hawk could.
"There's no way to escape the prison cell~ Welcome to Liones Y/n, daughter of the late holy knight grand master Zaratras!" I immediately looked behind me to see the woman who took me away from the others...from Meliodas. I wonder what he's doing right now...
"Please! Take me back to Meliodas!!" I shouted but all she did was laugh and teleport out of the cell. No...
"Let me break this damn cell open!" Hawk shouted as he ran towards the door and busted it open. I smiled even more and walked out of it with Hawk.
"Thank you Hawk!" I began to laugh as he made a proud face despite bleeding from the top of his head.
"Hey!!" A holy knight shouted but I summoned light to knock him out and sighed when I succeeded.
"You've changed throughout this journey huh Y/n?" Hawk questioned and I couldn't help but smile. I know I've gotten stronger...thanks to Meliodas and the other sins.
"Let's get going...I want to see Meliodas." I declared firmly and began running in the halls with Hawk beside me.
"Not so fast~" I stopped running and backed up when I saw the same woman who took me and Hawk here.
"I'm still leaving whether you like it or not lady!" I shouted angrily and summoned light in my hand again. Even if I'm not that good with this power yet...I will fight.
"You really think you can take me on? I was trained by the boar sin of gluttony Merlin!" The woman declared and I gasped in response. If Merlin trained her then I can't possibly take her on...
"I'll protect you Y/n!!" Hawk shouted ad he began running towards the woman only for him to be teleported away from here.
"Hawk!!" I shouted as I fell to my knees and did my best not to cry. Hawk isn't dead...I need to find him. To do that...I need to fight!
"Ark!!" I shouted and trapped the woman in an orb of light. I launched her out of a window and began to run once again. I need to find someone I recognize...I can't fight all by myself.

Diane's P.O.V
After I managed to protect Guila's little brother Zeal..
I felt weak. I'm losing to much blood...
"Y/n...I'm sorry...I couldn't do anything for you..." I mutter softly as I thought back to the Vaizel fighting festival. I was so selfish...I knew she was with the captain and still flirted with him. Even then she was kind to me...what kind of friend am I?
"I know what is right Grand master Dreyfus and that's not killing the serpent sin of envy Diane!" Howzer shouted as he stood in front of me preparing to attack his own people. But why...?
"You really think you can take me and Helbram on your own?" Dreyfus scoffed but then Guila started walking up to us in order to back Howzer up. Even her as well...?
"He isn't alone! We will take you on." Guila spoke firmly as she pointed her sword at both Dreyfus and Helbram.
"Guila...Howzer..." I mutter softly as I layed on the ground weakly while doing my best to protect Zeal. He still has a life ahead of him...he can't die. I hated humans...but Y/n and Elizabeth changed that.

"Friends...? Really?!" Y/n smiled up at me and Elizabeth stood next to her. I nodded my head and smiled happily at them both.
"Yup! Both of you are one of us now. So of course we're friends~!" I giggled as I enjoyed the cool breeze together with them.

I can't die here...King and I decided to help save Y/n. At least Elizabeth is safe with the others. I need to find King after getting separated...we need to fight in order to get our peaceful days back. Y/n...we're coming for you!
