After a few minutes of searching the forest, they finally found princess Elizabeth and Hawk. You kept your distance from Meliodas even though he kept trying to get your attention.
"Lady Y/n...are you alright?" Elizabeth asked sweetly while you looked into her eyes and saw sympathy.
"I'm fine...but is there anyway we can switch rooms?" You questioned since you no longer wanted to be in the same room with the man who hurt you. Even if it was a lie, you couldn't help but wonder if he'd really do that if he had no other choice..
"Nope~ You're staying with me~! We'll meet you all back at the bar!" Meliodas shouted as he scooped you up and began running as fast as he could.
"Let go of me Meliodas!!" You shouted angrily and tried to get out of his grasp but he was to strong.
"No, we need to talk." Meliodas spoke firmly with seriousness written all over his face. It was the first time you've seen him this serious since you met him a few days ago.
"Whatever..." You muttered softly and eventually reached the bar. He still hadn't put you down and was walking up the stairs to the room you both shared together. Finally after shutting the door, he layed you in bed.
"What I said to little Gil was a lie. I would never ever do that to you. I want to...protect you." Meliodas spoke calmly as he pulled you into his arms but you noticed his face looked like he was in excruciating pain.
"I forgive you Meliodas...are you okay? You look as white as a sheet!" You were worried that his fight with Guilthunder took a lot out of him.
"I'm fine~ Don't wo-" Meliodas couldn't even finish his sentence as he fell backwards onto the floor.
"Meliodas!!!" You screamed and went to pick up his body that was still dripping out blood from his wound. You carried him outside just as mama Hawk started moving. Diane was walking beside her while Elizabeth was in front of you with Hawk.
"Meliodas needs medical attention!!" You scream and it immediately got the attention of Diane who saw how bloody he was.
"We have to get to the nearest town and find a doctor!" Elizabeth suggested as she looked at Meliodas with a worried expression.
"That bastard...he didn't even care about himself and only on everyone else.." Hawk grumbled while trying to be mad at Meliodas but couldn't bring himself to do it.
"I'll carry him! I will find the doctor!!" Diane shouted as we eventually reached the outskirts of the nearest town that was close to Bastate Prison.
"Diane please...let me hold him at least." You begged with tears falling from your eyes and Diane let you but was carrying you both in her hands while Elizabeth and Hawk were on the ground.
"Hey! Is there a doctor in this town!?" Diane shouted but each human they saw, they just ran away in fear of seeing a giant.
"Lady Diane! Let us find the doctor!" Elizabeth pleaded for Diane to listen to her but she refused with anger in her purple eyes.
"No! I'm gonna be the one to help him!!" Diane shouted while you hugged Meliodas' unconscious body to make sure he was safe with you.
"Well how can you when everyone runs away from you huh!?" Hawk shouted with a glare of his own and you faced Diane with a gentle sad smile.
"Diane...I will take Meliodas to a doctor while Lady Elizabeth and Hawk accompany me. Is that alright with you?" You asked softly while caressing Meliodas' cheek in hopes that he'd wake up soon. You missed his smile..
"Okay...but it's not my fault everyone runs away! They're afraid of anything different from them!! When I met the captain...he saved me from knights and asked if I was scared. He didn't care if I wasn't a human...he wanted to make sure I was okay. That's why I fell in love with him..." Diane's words shocked you but you couldn't help but smile.
"I don't care if you're a giant, you're so cool and kind! I'm happy we met Diane, you're my friend." You giggled happily then started walking away once Diane let you go.
"Don't worry Meliodas...you're safe with me." You thought to yourself as you held onto Meliodas tighter while trying to find a doctor that can save his life...
