Chapter 7: Strange Symbol

Third Person's P.O.V
Finally after a few minutes of searching the town, they all found a doctor willing to help Meliodas. He seemed a bit suspicious to you but you dismissed it and focused on Meliodas. Elizabeth gave you space and stood beside Hawk.
"So he's gonna be okay right?" You asked softly and held onto his hand tightly. You missed seeing him smile and you missed his surprise gropes.
"Yes, in the afterlife I know he'll be fine." Doctor Dana's words shocked you and you turned your attention to him. Hw looked guilty and sad.
"What did you do to Sir Meliodas!?" Elizabeth shouted angrily while you climbed into the bed beside Meliodas and held him in your arms.
"Did you give him poison or something?!" Hawk glared at the doctor with hatred in his eyes. Tears started to fall from your eyes as you stared at Meliodas' sleeping face.
"Meliodas...wake up. Stop leaving me like this...!" You shouted and soon felt his hand flinch in your grasp. If the doctor did give Meliodas poison, it hasn't killed him yet.
"Lady Y/n! Come with me~!" A holy knight smirked at you as he stood beside the doctor who still had that guilty expression.
"If I go with you...will you spare Princess Elizabeth and Hawk...?" You spoke softly and slowly laid Meliodas' body back onto the bed.
"Of course! Only if you follow my orders." The knight reached his hand out to you and you begun to walk closer to him.
"Lady Y/n stop!" Elizabeth pleaded with a worried expression. Hawk looked scared as if he could feel what you were feeling.
"You're mine now~ And that sword too!" The knight held you closer to his armoured chest and yanked the sword out of Meliodas' hand. Once you blinked, the sword was no longer in his hands but back in Meliodas' hands. He was awake after hours of being unconscious.
"Meliodas...!" You shouted with a warm smile on your face. The knight held you closer to stop Meliodas from taking you away from him.
"This sword is the one thing I'll never let go of. The only thing I can do...the only way I can ever atone...!" Meliodas shouted firmly and his voice sounded different than before, almost demon like...
"Sir Meliodas..." Elizabeth muttered while holding onto Hawk to make sure he wouldn't get hurt.
"As if you can stop me~ Lady Y/n and that sword will soon be mine!" The knight shouted but once you looked at Meliodas, his eyes became black and a symbol appeared on his forehead. It was enough to scare the knight away and he left, the doctor had escaped as well.
"Is that really you...Meliodas?" You questioned with uncertainty laced in your voice.
"It's me~ Hey N/n, Elizabeth, and porky!" Meliodas smiled cheerfully while holding you close to him. You began to blush while holding him close to you.
"Oh thank goodness! You're back to your old self again!" Elizabeth smiled with relief written on her face. Hawk however looked annoyed.
"He called me porky!" Hawk whined as you let out a laugh. You felt loved by being around your new allies...and with Meliodas, you felt like you could do anything...all that's left is to find the knight and find Diane.
