Chapter 33: The Angel of Destruction

Elizabeth's P.O.V
The darkness that is surrounding Sir Meliodas...it's just like back in Domaly! He isn't himself...
"Y/n! Wake up...! Please!! Only you...you're the only one who can stop Sir Meliodas!" I held Y/n's body close in case Sir Meliodas accidentally hurts her...I can still hear Y/he's heart beat so hopefully she wakes up.
"Ellie we need to go!" Veronica shouted as she tried to yank me up but I shook my head, I must remain here. They need me!
"No! You and Sir Griamore run away!! I have a duty...save the kingdom of Liones from the holy knights. You just watch!" I declared firmly and looked down at Y/n to see her wounds had disappeared, how...?
"Lady Elizabeth..." Griamore muttered then nodded in understanding and so did my sister.
"You better stay alive Ellie...and thank Y/n for saving my life for me." I smiled as she finally ran away with Griamore. Sir Meliodas began running towards Jericho and Guila...he might kill them in that state.
"Captain is that really you in there!?" Ban shouted as he ran towards Sir Meliodas only for him to be cut in half! Just how strong is he...?
"What's going on 3ith Sir Meliodas...?" I mutter as I looked at Hawk hoping for an explanation but he looked just as confused as me.
"Who knows...but is that really Meliodas?" Hawk muttered softly and we both gasped when Meliodas suddenly flew towards us. He destroyed the ground around us but didn't attack at all.
"S-Sir Meliodas...?" I stuttered out as he quickly sniffed me then sniffed Y/n even more. He yanked her body away from me and I gasped in shock.
"What the hell dude?! Give her back!" Hawk shouted but Sir Meliodas didn't say a word...he just flew away with her unconscious body.

Y/n's P.O.V
This smell...it's Meliodas. I can also feel his warmth around me...I need to open my eyes. And once I was able to wake up I realized Meliodas still wasn't himself and was flying a certain direction.
"Meliodas! What's wrong?!" I shouted as I wrapped my arms around his neck. He stayed silent but pulled me closer to him...it's as if he's running on pure instinct.
"Both of my objectives have come to me! Saves me the trouble of hunting
Y/n L/n and the sword down~" A man chuckled and I glared angrily at him. I want to fight him...but I don't have any powers and he's insanely strong.
"Lady Y/n!" I gasped when I saw King badly injured on the ground...not even he could face that man?
"Meliodas I'll be safe with King okay? Kick that guys ass!" I shouted and Meliodas nodded then flew towards the man after letting me go.
"What's wrong with the captain?! He looks like he'll kill anyone who gets in his way.." King muttered softly but I shook my head, Meliodas isn't that type of person.
"He wouldn't hurt us...well he hurt Ban but for some reason he didn't hurt me or Elizabeth. Anyways you should escape! I'm not leaving Meliodas behind...!" I try to run towards the fight but King stopped me. I got angry and tried to get out of his grasp.
"That man...he's on a whole other level. You can't do anything..." No...there is always something I can do, I...won't ever give up.
"I'm not leaving...never!" I shouted and my whole body began to glow. This light...I've felt it somewhere before. I feel power surging through me...I can fight!
"Lady Y/n...your right eye-!" King blurted out but I ran off without hearing him finish. Meliodas was unconscious against a cliff...I have to save him.
"Hey!! Leave him alone!" I screamed at the man who gasped when he looked at the light surrounding me.
"You've awakened huh? Well this is bad timing for me." He chuckled and tried to escape...I won't let him.
"Ark!!" I shouted suddenly and it confused me why I would say that. It almost felt normal to me...
"Rush Rock!!" I smiled with relief as Diane finally arrived and attacked the man too. When the dust cleared he was gone, dammit he escaped.
"Diane! Is Meliodas okay?!" I shouted as I watched her pick up Meliodas and held him close to her cheek.
"Yup~! By the way...how did you get that power?! It's so cool!" Diane giggled and soon let Meliodas down. He looked shocked when he looked at me and I began to cry tears of joy because he's safe.
"Meli-"
"Dumbass captain!" I heard Ban shout from behind me and I watched him punch Meliodas in the face.
"That's fair~" Meliodas chuckled then stood up and walked towards me but Elizabeth ran up and hugged him while crying as well.
"You scared me Sir Meliodas...!" Elizabeth shouted and I couldn't help but sigh, I want to hug him too...and once no one was hugging him I jumped into his arms. The light from before appeared once again and I noticed that Meliodas' wounds were disappearing. So I have healing magic? That's useful, after all Meliodas is so reckless..
"Don't worry me like that ever again Meliodas...you idiot!" I pulled him even closer with a warm smile on my face. He's safe...!
"Hey Y/n~?" Meliodas asked cheerfully and I could tell he was going to either say or do something perverted to me.
"Yes?" I gasped when I felt Meliodas grope my rear end and it made me blush. I was too happy to push him away like I usually do.
"Your butt seems bigger~" Meliodas teased even if it angered Diane. After we all rested for a bit Meliodas told me that I'm an apostle of the goddesses. At least I'm able to help out more in a battle!
"What about your sword Sir Meliodas? Do you not care that it's missing?" Elizabeth questioned and I then realized that his sword is indeed missing! Wasn't it really important to Meliodas...?
"I do care...this situation is serious. But~ If Y/n is okay then it's all good!" I began to blush like crazy at Meliodas' words then began walking towards him. I can tell he cares greatly for me...just like I care for him.
"The captain and Y/n are in love~" Ban teased once they all saw me kiss Meliodas. I couldn't hide my feelings anymore...I love him.
"About time!" Hawk shouted and soon Meliodas kissed back. I could feel all the love he had for me in that kiss. I will be honest with my feelings...starting now.
