Chapter 5_Forgetting The Past

Jimin looks at Taehyung as he finishes the story he heard from Taehyung himself. The way Jimin described it had everyone in complete shock, like neither one of them knew what to say after that. The whole idea of what their teammate went through at such a young age had them feel sorry for him yet they knew they had to do everything in their power to make sure something like that doesn’t happen again.
Taehyung who was still passed out laid down breathing a little better than before, but still Jin was concerned as he had no supplies to help him recover better from this. The team stood up and gave Jin a look that say “ We’ll go look for supplies “.. But Jin told them not to leave at this moment
RM stood up and grab the shoulders of the team as he himself knew right now it would be way too dangerous.
The whole time they sat there tending to Taehyung, they could hear all the pain of the gangsters fighting each other and just the screams and the sounds that they assumed was gunshots was more intense than they could think of.
Jungkook who was worried about Madelyn but knew he had to help Taehyung first in this situations felt hopeless. The idea that he can’t do anything to help either one of them properly made him even more furious than he could imagine.
Jungkook was about to head out when he heard the words he hoped he would hear sooner rather than later.

Taehyung: We don’t have much time left.. Let’s head out..

The team look at Taehyung and smiles were seen on each and everyone’s faces as they see their comrade awake and smiling. Jin lifts Taehyung’s head to give him a better sitting position and Taehyung could just smile at the help his hyung could give him
Jungkook heads to Taehyung’s side and just hugs him as he was overjoyed from the quick recovery Taehyung was able to make.
RM sees this and looks at Taehyung as asking if he will be able to walk.

Taehyung: Yeah.. I’m good.. Thanks guys.
Jimin: Anyway.. Let’s just get to somewhere safer..
RM: I think I know of a place or rather a guy..
Jin: Can you trust this guy...
RM: Nope..
BTS: Huh!!!!
RM: Just follow me...

Taehyung stands up from the ground and heads with the rest. Jimin however felt Taehyung wasn’t 100% yet and gave him his shoulder to lean on. The two began to walk with the rest and the group were on their way again.
RM who was leading with Suga and J-Hope right beside him, they heard a few voices and knew these belonged to the gangsters, but they couldn’t go anywhere else otherwise their position would be detected and they would be hunted.
Suga thought of an idea but RM was against it. Suga looked at RM and thought it was now or never. He picked up a big stone and threw it as far as he could, and the massive sound alerted the gangsters as they ran towards the sound of the stones.
RM who just looked at this couldn’t or rather didn’t want to look at Suga as he knew he would only regret it, but he couldn’t help it and just like he thought Suga was smirking.
J-Hope seeing this just laughed at what happened.
RM took this as a chance to run to wherever there might be enough clearance. The rest of the group just followed RM to wherever this source of his was, whether or not this might be good or bad all they knew was they needed help asap.
As the group ran they just had to find out who and where RM might be taking them and Jungkook was the first to ask.

Jungkook: Hyung... Why not tell us a bit more of this guy..
RM: We well... We used to be best buddies but he had to move to an completely new town and well...
Jimin: So how are you sure that he might be around here..
RM: A few months ago he texted me that he lives around here now..
Taehyung: And you just didn’t ask which location exactly..
RM: There wasn’t enough time to do so.. I mean we haven’t spoken ever since he moved away and that was for about 4 to 5 years ago..
Jin: So you had to talk about other things right.. Y’all had to catch up..
Unknown: Yes.. Exactly..

RM stops with the rest just behind him. The group hears a voice from a distance but neither knew who it belonged to. RM however had an idea who it might be.
The unknown individual moved out from the shadows and revealed himself. RM was stoked to see him but the rest was still confused about this guy. RM was about to walked towards him but Suga stopped him the moment more people walked out with him.
Suga and the rest walked towards RM and got in a position to counter them. The group was ready but RM wasn’t in the position to fight, as if he knew nothing was going to happen.
RM steps forward along with the unknown individual and smiles on both their faces appeared.

RM: Its been quite some time..
Unknown: I see.. You’ve changed your style a bit RM..
RM: Yes I have... Jackson..

The group looked stunned from hearing the name of this individual. Taehyung and Jimin looked on as for some reason they as well as the rest has heard this name somewhere before, but they could not remember where and when, that was until Suga spoke up..

Suga: Do y’all remember when we were still in high school..??
BTS: What??

[4-5 Years Ago]

BTS begin their next day with some music, not singing or anything just listening to it with a few dance moves of their own. Taehyung who was leading knew what to do but lost his balance and fell on top of Jungkook who seemed to be just as distracted as he was.
Jimin and Suga helps them up, but looks at RM while they doing it. RM whose attention was at the group of boys talking about something rather interesting didn’t notice Taehyung and Jungkook's fall.

Taehyung: Hyung is there something wrong..
RM: The name those boys just mentioned.. I know that guy..
Jungkook: What you mean...
(Back to the boys who were talking)
Boy 1: I’ve heard that he kills anyone who gets in his way..
Boy 2: Are you sure because killing is worse than just warning.. Maybe he just warns them..
Boy 1: No I’m pretty sure he kills them..
Boy 3/4: Yes he does..
Boy 2: So then its best to stay out of Jackson’s way..
Boy 1: Yes it would be...

(Back to BTS)

BTS stood around while RM explains to them what he heard and they couldn’t help but feel the threat this guy might be giving. RM walks to a nearby tree and sigh more than he ever did and that didn’t go unnoticed to the rest of the group.
Jin walks to RM and asks him how he might know this guy, but RM didn’t want to tell as he himself was having a difficult time understanding this whole situation. He begins looking at the sky and back at his team as he says the words..

RM: Jackson and I grew up together..
BTS: WHAT!!!!

[Present Time]

Jimin and J-Hope looks at Suga as he tells the story of what happened a few years back and they all were like shocked at what he said, a few was still stunned that Suga of all people remembers that scene. Jimin who was still confused asked Suga to tell him a few more details but Suga himself had no more.
Taehyung who was still dizzy  walks towards the wall to rest some more while RM talks to Jackson. Jungkook stands still as he had no idea what his next moves will be, but he hoped RM had another plan, the kind of plan to get them closer to help Madelyn.
Jungkook walks towards RM but Jin stops him in his tracks. He has no idea what Jin would be thinking, that is until Jin points towards a certain spot. The spot who just happens to have one of Jackson’s teammates ready to attack.
Jungkook takes a few steps back and nods his head as he understood what Jin was doing. It wasn’t long when RM looked at his team and told them to follow him. Jackson who was leading the way kept on talking to RM while the rest just followed.
The team was rather busy walking and talking that neither one noticed that Taehyung was already out of breath and had difficulty walking. Taehyung took each step harder than the one before that. The rest of the members was still busy with the talking and trying to understand what Jackson was saying that neither one of them knew of Taehyung’s situation.
Jackson walked slower so everyone could hear what he had to say.

Jackson: Oh yeah.. BTW the this is my team.. This is JB, Jinyoung, Yugyeom, BamBam, Mark and Youngjae... (Looks at BamBam).. What’s wrong..??
BamBam: (holds Taehyung’s arm).. From what I can tell is.. His...
Jin:.. Blood is rather low... Yeah.. We don’t have anything to help him..
Jackson: What do you say??
BamBam: He needs to get something really fast...

Jungkook and Jimin takes Taehyung from BamBam and lead him into a space Jackson happens to point at. It wasn’t long when they finally arrived at the spot. The spot that for some reason looks cleaner than they would have guessed.
Jackson sees their expression and couldn’t help but laugh as he knew exactly what they were thinking at that time.  He stops and looks back at them with a smile.

Jackson: I might be ruthless at times guys.. But I don’t live in a dump..
RM: Why would you say that...
Jackson: (points at the members).. Their expressions tells me they thought this would be some secret hideout kinda business (laughs)..
RM: (laughs)... Well to be honest I thought it would look a little sketchy too..
Taehyung: (coughs)...
BamBam: Follow me...

Jungkook and Jimin follows him to a room that seemed to look like it would have the right equipment for Taehyung’s condition. BamBam was about to begin on him when Jin walked In to lend a hand and it took some time as neither BamBam or Jin knew each other good enough to trust the work of the other.
They soon resolved their differences as Taehyung began spitting blood which they knew was not a good thing at this time.

Jin: You guys have to get out now...
BamBam: Move...
Taehyung: (coughs)...

RM and the rest gets out the room as Jin and BamBam began helping Taehyung. Jackson who was curious as to why Taehyung was in that condition looked at RM for answers, but he himself had no idea why that would happen as he thought Taehyung just passed out.
Jungkook was about to stand up when J-Hope spoke up and mentions the passing out part but nothing else. Jimin looked at J-Hope knowing exactly why he said only that part.
RM and Jackson stood up and began walking to another room to talk, which the others found weird as they never seen RM this secretive.

Jungkook: Why would he go in their alone.??
Suga: No idea... But for now we have to trust him...
BTS: Yeah...
Mark: So you guys are BTS... I’ve heard of you..
GOT7:... You guys have been busy...
Jimin: What you mean by that...??
GOT7: (Smirks)... You’ll understand soon..
