Broken

Narrator's POV

"I'm afraid that Mr.Adams has lost the baby." The doctor said.

Nick's whole world stopped. No. It cannot be true.

Nick couldn't breathe

He was heartbroken.

Joe... how will he take it?

"Does he know?" Nick  managed to breathe out.

The doctor nodded.

"Mr. Jonas is in room 379" Nick didn't even wait to hear what else the doctor needed to say. He quickly sped away to his boyfriend... his baby boy.

When he arrived to Joe's room

He opened the door and he saw his baby boy. He looked so pale, his eyes were rimmed with red, a signal that he'd been crying.

"Joey" Nick whispered.

Joe looked up at Nick... he looked so sad so... broken.

"I'm sorry" Joe said sadly. Nick sat beside Joe.

"What for?" Nick asked, confused.

"It was my fault why I lost our baby" Joe said, his puffy red eyes filling with tears again. Nick didn't say anything... Nick pulled Joe into a hug... holding him close not letting go.

A few weeks later

Nick looked across to Joe who has his back to him. Joe hadn't said much to Nick since he lost the baby. He was depressed. He was only 16 years old and be lost his baby.

"Joey?" Nick whispered. No reply. Nick sighed deeply.

5 minutes later a voice spoke up.

"I love you" Joe whispered, his voice cracking with emotion.

"I love you too" Nick said.

"No you don't..." Joe whispered.

Nick was caught off guard.

"What?" Nick asked, really shocked.

"You don't love me... I lost your baby... you hate me" Joe said, facing Nick.

Nick stood up and sat beside Joe.

"I love you so fucking much! I'd stand in front of a bullet for you, I'd catch a grenade for you" Nick told Joe, tears falling.

"I'm just upset" Joe said

"And you think I'm not?" Nick asked,

"No, but..." Joe started.

"You think that I'm happy that you lost our baby?" Nick interrupted.

"Well..." Joe started again.

"Well I'm not happy! I'm heartbroken too and you've basically been ignoring me like it was my fault!" Nick shouted.

Joe started to cry. Either because he feels bad for ignoring Nick or because Nick is shouting at him.

Nick immediately felt bad.

"I'm sorry baby" he pulled Joe into a hug.

"I love you Nicky" Joe cried out.

"I love you too baby boy" Nick whispered softly.

"Don't... please don't leave me" Joe added.

"Never" Nick replied.

Sorry this chapter is short and as boring as fuck but I've been having writer's block recently and it's just been hard. Sorry again :/
