A/N: NaNoWrMo is starting soon! If anyone is doing it, they should add me as a writing buddy! Updates are probably going to be really slow after NaNo starts, so sorry in advance if I'm not really consistent or posting at all. It happened in July and I went like two weeks without being on Wattpad... Craps, I need a plot for my NaNo story. Comments and votes are wonderful! Enjoy the chapter!!!

“I don’t get it,” Seth said to his father. “Why can’t I say anything? She’s been saying all of this stuff and I just want to-”

“Seth, you just can’t say anything,” Markus said. “He said we can’t and we have to respect that order. Besides, even though she says she doesn’t care and she doesn’t want to know, if she learns we’ve been keeping this a secret, she’ll be angry.”

Seth crossed his arms, “How do you know?”

“I just do,” Markus said.

“But you might be wrong,” Seth said as Ash and Kelsey walked into the kitchen.

“Markus is never wrong,” Kelsey said, grabbing two apples and passing one to Ash. “It’s impossible.”

Ash laughed, “Anything’s possible.”

“Not this,” Kelsey said with a grin. “Markus likes being right about everything, so he can say “I told you so” to the Captain, it’s his favorite thing to do.”

Ash grinned, “That sounds fun.”

“It is,” Markus said with a smile as Trip, Ian and Kara burst into the kitchen.

“Hello!” Trip yelled. “You like our capes?” Trip, Ian and Kara twirled and everyone laughed.

Ian smiled, “Mine’s is blue cause Ash made me blue, Kara is orange because Ash made her orange and Trip is green cause Ash him made him green.”

Kara smiled as she held up a grey cape and a black cape in one hand and her white board in the other hand, ‘Ash and Seth’s capes!’

Kelsey laughed as Ian handed a red cape, “I think we forgot Markus…” Ian mumbled with a frown.

“Have no fear,” Trip pulled a bright yellow cape from his pocket and presented it to Markus.

Ash tied Seth’s cape around his neck and laughed as Kelsey tied her cape around her neck and Trip tied Markus’s cape around his neck, “I hate you,” he grumbled as Seth tied Ash’s cape around her neck.

“Come on,” Trip said. “We’ve got capes for Taven, Jack, Walt, Laura and the Cap their capes.”

“What about Cam?” Kelsey asked.

Trip frowned, looked around for Camron, then rolled his eyes as he reached out the door and tugging Camron into the kitchen, “There!” he said with a grin.

“Nice cape, bro,” Kelsey said, referring to Camron’s bright purple cape.

“Shut up,” Camron said.

Everyone laughed as Ash and Kelsey finished their apples, “Later,” Seth said to his dad as they ran out of the kitchen.

“Bye,” Markus called back, chuckling as the door slammed shut.

“Capes!” Trip yelled, running off the elevator and into the tech lab.

Jack, Taven and the Captain looked up from the lab table, “What?” the Captain asked with a raised a raised eyebrow.

Ian stood in front of his father and smiled sweetly, “Capes.” He held up a navy blue cape, “This one’s yours, daddy.”

The Captain’s eyes widened, “Um… no thanks, bud. I’ve got to work.”

Ian’s lower lip began to tremble and he looked over at Ash, who shook her head, “I told you so,” she said, making Kara pout too.

The Captain stared at Ash in shock for a moment, then looked back at Ian before he took the cape.

Markus smiled and Seth, Trip and Kelsey hid their smirks as the Captain tied the cape around his neck.

Kara and Ian grinned at Ash, “I told you so,” Ian said, crossing his arms.

Markus laughed as the Captain stared at Ash, Ian and Kara in shock and said, “They just… and… but…”

“Yes, Chris. They played you,” Markus said and the teenagers laughed and Ian and Kara smiled sweetly.

Jack and Taven, who were helping each other put on their capes laughed at the Captain as Trip yelled, “Walt! Laura!”

“Who chose these colors?” Taven asked as Jack finished tying his cape around his neck.

“Ash,” Trip said as Walt and Laura walked in to the lab.

“Of course she did,” the Captain said.

Trip threw two yellow and orange striped at the twins, “Catch. They’re capes. Put them on.”

Walt and Laura laughed before they caught the capes and put them on, “Nice,” Walt said.

Ian, Trip and Kara grinned and high-fived each other, “Awesome,” Ian said, bouncing on the ball of his feet.

The Captain looked over at Ash, who laughed at his cape, ‘I hate you,’ he thought.

Ash shook her head, “No you don’t,” she thought back.
