A/N: So it's kind of been forever since I updated this and I feel awful, but there is a very good reason for the lack of updates! I'm really extra behind on school work, I'm studying for SAT/ACT and I've been working on my application for senior year. I'm (hopefully) going to start updating this story regularly again, so enjoy!

A few hours after everyone got their capes, as the clock on Seth’s iPod told them it was getting close to midnight, Ash, Seth and Trip walked Ian and Kara in the Rec Room, read to them, then headed down to their floor.

“Hey,” Camron said, when they walked into the living room. “How are the kiddies?”

“Good,” Seth said. “You missed story time. Ian and Kara had Ash read to them.”

Kelsey sighed, “Oh well, I’ll just wallow in self-pity about that,” she said making everyone laugh.

“What did you guys do after we left?” Seth asked as they joined the twins on the couch.

“Went to see Ray, Tay and the rest of Jacob’s bunch,” Kelsey said. “They say hey.”

Seth chuckled and Trip sighed, “I’m bored,” he said after a moment of silence. “Nothing interesting ever happens.”

Ash raised her eyebrows, “We just go shot at a few days ago, life doesn’t get much more interesting than that.”

“That’s actually pretty ordinary for around here,” Camron said.

Still,” Trip said, dragging out the word. “I wish something interesting would-”

A loud explosion cut Trip off mid-sentence as the room shook and the lights flickered.

“Please tell me that was Jack or Lee,” Kelsey said after a moment.

Ash stood up, “That was Jack or Lee.”

“Really?” Kelsey asked.

Ash shook her head, “No, but I thought it would make you feel better.”

Kelsey groaned, “Use your mind and do a scan or something,” she said.

Ash closed her eyes, “The top floor just blew up,” she said. Then, “What’s a Cells? It’s obviously in the Academy cause it’s sickeningly white, but I don’t know what it is exactly.” Ash paused, “Oh, that’s a Cells,” she mumbled. “Justin’s there with a dude. White long sleeve shirt, black sweat pants, blond hair, blue eyes.” Ash bit her lip and opened her eyes, “Its Cole. Andrew Cole.”

The lights flickered again, then turned red as a siren began to go off.

“What just happened?” Kelsey asked.

“Cole busted the door,” Ash said before she shut her eyes.

Trip looked over at Ash and started to say something, but was cut off by Ash falling onto the couch.

Seth grabbed Ash and squeezed her arm, “Ash? What’s-”

“He knew,” Ash said as she opened her eyes. “He knew I was in his head.

“Who knew?” Seth asked.

“Cole,” Ash said, pushing herself up off the couch. “We need to get Seth up to Walt and Laura and we have to get to Ian and Kara, they’re hiding under the table in the Rec Room.”

Seth looked up at the ceiling, “How are we getting up?” he asked. “We’re in lockdown.”

Ash grabbed Seth’s hand and laced their fingers together as she looked around, “Where are the stairs in this place?”
