He then walked to Aurelia, before harshly grabbing the back of her neck, and picking her up, before pushing her against the car. She struggled against him, but he had given her the illusion that he was stronger.

She let out a shaky breath, trying her hardest to think past the thoughts in her head.

"What of dear Aurelia?"

Her back arched a little, and she turned to her side, attempting to even her labored breaths.

"Now, now." He teased. "Stay where you are, or the first thing that'll touch you is her decapitated head."

She curled up into a ball.

"TAKE THAT BACK!" He shouted. "I'LL KILL YOU, YOU BASTARD!"

She let out a loud gasp, her eyes flying open as she sat up on her bed. Her hand went to cover her neck, when she could've sworn she was hurt.

She tilted her head backwards, closing her eyes as her uneven breaths began to even.

When she was 'calm', she ran her hands through her messy hair as she threw her covers off of her and got off the bed.

She looked at the curtains covering the window, walking to them. She drew the thick curtain over a little, to check if it was daytime yet.

The sun had just seemed to risen, its morning light bouncing off her blue-gray eyes.

Damon and Elena would probably wake up any minute. She gulped, noticing how dry her throat was. While gently keeping her hand on it, she walked towards the door, before frowning as she saw it opened halfway. Shrugging it off, she quietly and slowly walked downstairs to the basement.

Minutes later, she was up in the living room looking out the window as she took a sip from her glass of blood. She observed the birds that flew past the house every few moments, figuring she wouldn't be able to get back to sleep at 6 in the morning.

Taking in a deep breath, she closed her eyes, enjoying the peace.

"Aurelia. What are you doing here? How are you here?"

She opened her eyes again, frowning as she recognized the window she was looking out of.

She saw it in the vision Elena shared with her that night. It was the same window where 'she' told Stefan to hold on.

She shook her head, blinking several times. Stefan was fine, she was sure. She just saw him a few days ago.

He was probably worried sick for her.

"Depressed or something?" The annoying, deep throated female voice asked. Aurelia furrowed her eyebrows, as she spun around to face a brunette with slightly messed up hair.

"Katherine." She said. "What are you doing here?"

"Oh, just—"

"And human, at that?" She added, puzzled. Katherine suddenly seemed to show some self-consciousness. "Ah, so I was right."

"Is it that obvious?" She asked. Aurelia smiled devilishly.

"I can hear the blood pumping through your veins, Katherine." She said. "Better yet, I can smell it. And oh, how much I'd love a drink." Katherine began to back away, and Aurelia set the empty glass on the table. "Where might you be going so suddenly?" She asked, walking closer to her.

"Um, I—" Aurelia sped to her, holding her down by her shoulders as her fangs grew. Her eyes turned red, and she smirked before slowly moving closer to the carotid artery. Katherine fussed and called for help, as Aurelia paid no heed.
