End of Chapter 4 -
"So, how did we get a distress signal from here?" You question, confused.
"I don't know, Y/N. We need to find out, soon in case it is my father, Thanos." Gamora fears.
You reach the point of the distress signal, and Carol stops. She's sensed something. I hope it isn't anything bad.
"What the hell are they?" Carol and Rocket ask, simultaneously.
You turn to see a group of, what appear to be big Skrulls? No... Super-Skrulls!

You stared in disbelief. How are they here? I thought there was no other life on this planet, did the Nova Corps and Rocket lie to me? Were they the ones to send the signal? Was this a trap? Did we fall straight into it? WHY IS THAT ONE'S HAND GLOWING FLAMES?!
You begin to hyperventilate, and freak out. You have read about the Super-Skrulls on the Nova Corps database. It said they were extinct, but how are they standing right in front of you?
Carol steps forward, her fists glowing blue. "Who are you?"
KI'rt, their leader and the one with the flaming fist, steps forward too. "We are what is known as a race called the Super-Skrulls. We received a distress signal from this planet, which I'm assuming you did too, since there is no other detectable life here, besides the signal senders." He replies, calmly.
"Well, we've been here longer than you have, we answered the distress signal first. You guys can leave now. Au revoir!" Peter interrupts, and sings the last part.
"I'm afraid it's not that simple, Star-Prince. We can't just leave, as it was our people who sent the signal. The Skrulls. Therefore, we request our assistance in this mission." KI'rt offers.
"You know me?! Ugh fine. Whatever. Anything to get my bounty quicker." Quill happily asks, then mumbles the last part.
"Peter, will you stop thinking about your bounty for 5 minutes! We need to answer the distress call. Now." You scold, and Peter frowns. Carol looks over, and you swear you see a smile from her. Maybe she has forgotten about the conversation. You smile back.

After walking for what seems like forever, you finally reach the exact point of the signal. KI'rt takes his troops with him, and you, Carol and the Guardians search the perimeter. Your senses are telling you that something is wrong still, so you pull Carol aside to talk to her.
"Carol. I need your advice."
"Y/N, what's wrong?"
"Something isn't right with this planet and the Super-Skrulls, I can feel it."
"Your senses are going wild, aren't they? Tell me what you feel."
You sigh. "Panic overload. I can sense something is going to happen, something bad. I can sense no lifeforms in the nearby area besides us and the Super-Skrulls. I'm starting to think there might not have even been a distress signal, and it was all a trick."
"Y/N, we need to check. Just to be sure. Stick with me and you'll be fine." Carol soothes.
"Thank you, Carol. But I'm pretty sure I can fend for myself." With that, you turn and leave. Carol watches you go and prepare for what's coming.
