She instantly lays next to you, and you fall asleep on her shoulder, your tiredness taking over again.

The Next Morning
You wake up with a banging headache. Ouch! You look over to the side of you and see Carol sleeping soundly. Should I wake her or leave her?
You decide to leave the room without waking Carol, and head to the cockpit to see the Guardians. They did save your life after all, so they deserve some sort of thanks. The first person you see is Drax, who simply waves at you, which you return with a smile. Gamora is next, who engulfs you in a hug and asks how you're feeling. Rocket and Groot aren't paying any attention to their surroundings, so nothing out of the ordinary with them. The last person you see on your journey to the cockpit is Peter, who is singing along to 'Moonage Daydream' by David Bowie.
"Hey Peter! What's cookin', good lookin'?" You say.
"Y/N! Hi! How are you feeling?"
"Pretty good thanks, and yourself?"
"I'm good! Got Bowie playing, so y'know. What you here for, nugget?" Quill enquires.
"I... I came to say thank you for everything yesterday. I know it must have been hard for you all to fight off the Skrulls without my enhanced senses telling you who's who..."
"Y/N. Stop. It's sort of our job to protect the galaxy... you don't need to thank us! Anyway, I sorta crept into the guest bedroom this morning and saw you and Carol sleeping in the same bed. Did anything happen? Give me the details!"
"Peter, nothing happened. She said she wanted to look out for me while I was out of it, that's all. Nothing more, nothing less okay? Now, where are we going to next?"
"Oh, about that..." Quill scratches the back of his neck. "We are parting ways, Carol wanted to take you somewhere, just you and her. I said I'd drop you off at Ego. That's as far as we're going. I'm sorry, Y/N, I really am, but it appears our adventure is over."
"What? That's insane! I can't leave you guys yet! I want to help out more! There's gotta be something I can do! Although, spending time with Carol alone does sound good." You contemplate, siding more with alone time with Carol over the Guardians, as much as you love them. "When will we reach Ego?"
"3 days."
"Fabulous, we can help you guys about the ship until then."
"I'd like that Y/N, I would like that very much. Fancy steering for a little bit?" Quill asks.
"OH MY GOD YES!!! Wait, are you sure? I don't want to crash her."
"Of course! I trust you more than these goons anyway!"
