End of Chapter 2 -

Just as the conversation finishes, you finish packing.

"Right, I've finished packing. You ready to go?" You ask Carol, to which she simply nods.

"Let's go."

Carol took your arm, and just like that you were flying. One hand holding you, and the other holding your massive backpack. You've never felt anything like this feeling before. Flying was amazing! You could do this all day, and with Carol by your side, you were in ecstasy. You were interrupted from your thoughts by Carol; "you daydreaming, Y/N?"

"What? Oh right... no I wasn't daydreaming. I was taking in the wonderful sights of Xandar before we left."

"Yeah yeah, Y/N. We both know you were thinking of me." Shit, does she know I like her?

"Carol. For the last time, I was not daydreaming."

"Sure, you keep thinking that, babe."

Omfg she just called me babe. What do I do? What do I say back to that?

Instead of reacting with a snarky comment, you smirk. This was unusual for you, as you never were one to flirt with other people. Usually, you waited for them to make a move first, then go with the flow. But, with Carol, a whole new version of you came out. Something you've never witnessed yourself doing to anyone.

"Maybe I will keep thinking about that. Who knows?" You reply, with confidence.

"Ooh, Y/N has had a courage boost!" Carol laughs alongside, whilst still carrying you through the skies of Xandar.

"You know what, Carol? She has."

Once you reached cloud level on Xandar, Carol stopped. You could tell she was up to something, just by the smirk plastered on her face, and the way she kept looking around.

"Carol... why have we stopped?" You ask, nervously.

"Well, for starters, you can't leave Xandar without a space suit. Your head would explode the second we leave the atmosphere. Secondly, your grandma would kill me if I ever let anything happen to you on our adventure, especially if I throw you into the vacuum of space without so much as a helmet. I called in some help from a few friends of yours, to help us to our first destination."

"Right... who?"

"You'll see."

Just as you were about to answer Carol, you heard a loud engine rev from behind you. Could it be? You turn your head ever so slightly, to see the Milano floating behind you. No. Fricking. Way. Did. Carol. Manage. To. Call. The. Guardians. Without. You. Knowing.

"Carol! I have so many questions! Let's start simple shall we? WHY ARE THE GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY HERE?"

"You spoke very highly of them, so I got into contact with them while you were packing." She held your backpack up, as a subtle hint to compliment what she was saying. "Are you okay with them joining us?"

"Of course I am! I'm just amazed you managed to call them here, for me alone. It usually takes a lot of convincing for the Guardians to show up. The last time I saw them was a few days ago, when the battle of Xandar took place. I would have thought they would have been off causing mischief somewhere in the universe."

"You know we can hear you guys flirting right?!" Rocket said through the Milano's speaker.

"Rocket, I swear to God I will kill you." You stated.
