Kazuma: Hmm that's a bit strange.

Kazuma pulled on his outfit straighting his new attire as a temporary butler. Across from him, Aqua was finishing up the touches on hers as well to help Darkness out of her situation.

Aqua: What's strange?

Kazuma: I haven't seen (Y/n) in awhile.

Aqua: You know... now that I think about it I haven't seen him either,

Kazuma: Darkness do you know where (Y/n) is?

Darkness: I haven't seen him in quite a while myself. Is he not with Megumin?

Kazuma: No I sent Megumin on her own. Do you think he is still with that Yunyun girl?

Aqua: He better not be or he will need to have a demon removed again!

Kazuma let out a sigh as Aqua went into a rant about how she would assault (Y/n) if he came back with hickeys like last time. But something felt off... The plan to "help" Darkness was going according to plan and they were were about to meet the man Darkness was arranged to marry so what is off? It almost feels like for some reason in some story somewhere, Kazuma is the main character of this chapter! Kazuma let out a sigh and entered the waiting area. A blond-haired man awaited you three with a smile. Kazuma quickly figured out that this guy was Darkness's father.

Darkness's Father: Hello you three. I'm terribly sorry for not mentioning this earlier but...

Darkness: What is wrong, father?

Darkness's Father: Well I invited over an old friend of mine and I just received word that he has brought his daughter...

Aqua: So another girl is gonna be here during an arranged marriage visit? That seems like bad parenting.

Kazuma: Hush!

???: OI!!!

A booming voice came through the door as it was thrown open. There stood a short old man. He was bald but his eyebrows were bushy enough to cover his eyes and his mustache cloaked the rest of his features below his pointed nose.

???: Ignis, you old brute, where are you?! It's so dark in here! Turn on a light, you old cheapskate!

Darkness's father seemed to let out an annoyed sigh before clearing his throat. This gained the attention of the old man. The corners of his mustache turned upward somehow in a weird hairy smile as he shuffled over to Darkness's Father and shook his hand vigorously.

???: Ignis you old sport it's so nice to visit again!

Ignis: It is nice to see you again as well Maverick, though you don't have to yell I'm right here...

Maverick: Still I'm surprised you asked for my daughter to come too!

Ignis: I never asked for you to bring her.

Maverick: Well I wanted to make you happy old friend so I brought my daughter!

Ignis let out a sigh as the old man began calling for the girl to enter. Kazuma let out a sigh as this whole situation seemed to be getting out of hand. Hopefully, nothing else would mess thus uuuuuuuuuuhhhhhh...

Kazuma felt his train of thought as the daughter of this old noble entered. Her skin seemed radiant in the light of the room. She walked so gracefully that it appeared she floated as she took her place next to her father. Her puffy green dress matched perfectly with the silken gloves she wore. The majority of her face was hidden behind a sun hat, shielding everything but her soft-looking lips from the light of the room, strange of blonde hair falling just below the rim to glisten in the light. Kazuma found himself staring at the girl and it was clearly noticeable to the point she seemed to glance at him and offer an angelic giggle at the sight of him being star-struck.
