Chapter 3

Kings P.O.V

I've been in jail for over 24 hours and they hadn't booked me and sent me to a jail cell yet. They had me sitting in this cold ass interrgotation room. Every few hours there would be a new detective come in and ask me the same questions.

"Dorian. What do you do for a living?"

"We have witnesses that say you are a drug dealer. Is that true?"

"Are you aware that if we get evidence that you sell drugs you are going to be doing some serious time?"

I didn't know where all of this was coming from. I was making my way out of the drug game day by day. But I guess my past would always haunt me.

I didn't know if they were telling the truth about the witnesses but it was slick making me worry. How would they have evidence? Who would snitch on me?

Meanwhile ..

Its our time now baby, you ready?

"Hell yeah, been waiting on this shit for months, Tiffany. That's suppose too be me as the head Kingpin of Brooklyn."

"Well, lets go get it then Mike."

Mike and Tiff both pulled their ski mask per their faces and made sure their guns were loaded and ready.

Mike then watched as Tiff used a bobby pin to pick the lock to King and Kay's backdoor. Once she had the lock picked and ready to be opened she looked back at Mike to let him know that she was ready.

They both crept into the house. They noticed that it was really quiet and most of all the lights were out. They found this unusual. They knew that King and Kay had three kids, so for the house to be this quiet was unusual.

"Damn. Where they at?" Mike whispered to Tiff.

They then noticed a light coming from the front area of the house, the den area. They slowly crept over. Mike was ready to go in bussin' but Tiff stopped him once she heard Kay's loud crying. She held her arm out so that he wouldn't go any further and told him to listen.

They listened as Kay cried to King's mom. She explained that she didn't know what to do. She was stuck. They listened as Kay told her how he turned himself in for her. She didn't really have enough money to provide for the kids, pay the bills, and find King a lawyer.

Tiff smiled after hearing that. She had heard enough. She looked over at Mike and gave him the signal that she couldn't do it. He looke at her like she was crazy. She gave him a knowing look, that told him she knew what she was doing.

Relunctly, he listened and followed her as she snuck back out of the house. Once back outside and in the car he confronted her.

"What the fuck was that Tiffany?! You knew the plan. you knew the fucking plan!"

"Calm down, I got a better one. Didn't you hear what she said?"

"Hell no. My mind was set on one thing an one thing only!"

The original plan was for them to go in and rob and kill King an maybe even Kay if she didn't cooperate With them. Mike wanted King's position as Kingpin every since that day when they first met back when Rich hired him and Vick to rob the trap.

King was always smooth with it. King killed Vick and got away with it. Mike and Vick weren't the best of friends but it kind of hurt him too see Vick get shot like that. But it made him envy King to see him take Vick out like that and get away with it. But he made a big mistake when he let Mike walk away a free man.

He even gave him the opportunity to work for him. Mike had been a loyal worker every since then. Then one day he met Tiff. They ended up fucking around and later it blossomed into a relationship.

Tiff had a hatred towards King because he left her for Kay back when they were in highschool. They both had a hatred for the same person so this only made their relationship stronger in their eyes. They teamed up and started plotting.

"Listen. Kay just said that King is in jail. I'm guessing he turned himself in for something she did. That's why she feels so bad about it. She also said that he didn't have any money. That means that she doesn't have access to his money and she know she can't ask him about it because if she does the cops will hear it and investigate him."

She looked over at Mike to see him looking a if he was uninterested. "Okay. And?"

She smacked her lips. "And nigga. Why not just make it easier for ourselves and start working for the police. We can keep him Locked up and then you can take his spot as king pin. It'll be so much easier. You work for him so all you have to do is sneak pics and plant microphones and all that."

Mike nodded his head finally understanding. He roughly grabbe the back of he head bad pulle her to him and plane a wet rough kids on her cheeks.

"That's why I fucks with you girl."
