C h a p t e r 17

"Sakura the food is ready now." Sai called me from the kitchen. I can already smell the cooked ramen and it's making me hungrier than I already am.

"Hmmmm, it looks delicious." I complimented the food cause it really looks tasty, but then my attention was turned to him who was not wearing a shirt and only a dark blue pajama. It was revealing his body figure. Sai was not really that attractive the first time I met him. He was too white and skinny. He is even wearing a crop top that reveals his flat and plain tummy, but as time passed by, being away from the ANBU did justice to him. He became more exposed to the sun and that made his skin color a little less too white and the missions that we had developed his muscles. At times I saw him work out at the training grounds and I can see him running through the forest. He really did improve physically.

"What looks delicious Sakura?" He was smirking and I bet he realize I was stunned with his naked half. Idiot!

"What?! Ofcourse it's the food. Can you put some shirt on? I hate seeing your body." I said a little bit embarrassed getting caught looking at him.

"Oh, do you really hate it?" He doesn't really stop.

"Shannnaro! Aaaaagh. Will you wear a shirt or I'm gonna kick your ass?" Argh. He really does piss me off sometimes. Well atleast I got to see his goodies! Tehehehe

"Chill. I will wear one now." He instantly grabbed his shirt which was placed on the corner of the counter. "There. Shall we eat?"

We sat down and ate. His cooking was really good. It was already as good as Ichiraku's. We talked about a lot of things, About his plans and what he will do. We also talked about Naruto and the others. And what's gonna happen now that the war is over and danger is mostly far from the view.

"Sakura, when will you marry?" Sai suddenly ask as he entered the room holding 2 cups of hot chocolate. We were done eating and just chilling out now.

"What?"

"Getting settled in with someone. You know .." He handed me the other cup.

"Well I don't know. I don't even have a boyfriend or a man to start with."

"You don't?" A smirk formed his face.

"What?!" I got annoyed again with his words again. He sat next to me and put down his cup to face me.

"Sakura .." Sai softly said. This made me blush. What now? Is he going to do something?! "I've known you for quite sometime now, I just want you to know .." He paused.

"What?" I softly asked. My heart is slowly starting to beat fast.

"Daisuki." He was looking at me intently and in all honesty his eyes were conveying to me his feelings. He slowly motioned towards me.

Moving closer and closer until he was just an inch away. I know what he is about to do but why body seems to just allow what may happen.

He pressed his lips to mine.

I was just caught off guard by the moment but something inside me pushed me to respond to his kisses. His lips felt soft and tasted like the cocoa. This sensation was so intense that I pushed him softly so I could breathe for air.

"Sakura, are you alright?" He asked.

"Why ... A-ano." I was tounge tied. I don't know what to say. What did I just do?!

"Sakura." Sai kissed me again with more passion and eagerness this time.

I pushed him harder this time cause it made me uncomfortable with what his doing. "What are you doing Sai?"

"Don't you remember anything?" He said wondering.

"Remember what?!"

"Anything?"

"NO!"

"For real? I thought I did it in the right way." He was like talking to himself and I became puzzled with him.

"Arrrrrrrrgh! I will leave now." I said as I stood up.

"Wait Sakura..." He grabbed my hand.

"What?" I faced him feeling tensed again.

"Will you go out with me?" He said without any hesitations.

"Sai ... I... I still don't know yet." I was caught off guarded by his question. I never thought Sai thinks of me that way. "Let me think about it okay?"

He just nodded in response and pulled me towards him for a hug.

"I just wanna help you out Sakura." He whispered in my ears. Sai let me go and kissed my forehead.

"Thank you for the dinner. Goodnight." I told him as he openned the door and I walked out.

"Take care Sakura,"

Everything happened so fast that I was not able to picture it out. Did we really just kissed?! Gaaaaaaaaaaah!

Sai is just a friend right? I guess not.

But I never saw him "that" way. Yeah you never looked at his masculine body on those missions you had!

It was only once! Oh! Once? once at Konohagakure, once at Sunnagakure and how about at that river?

Can you just shut up! Naze? Sakura no baka!

My feelings are getting twisted now. But wait! The kiss we had was like being relived by something I felt before. I think I felt it somewhere but my memories are empty. It leads me on a dead end. I can't remember anything. But my heart feels something. Something hidden in it, Sasu. No it can't be. It's not possible. Maybe it's my imagination. I shrugged the idea.
