As i sat there, looking at Cyrus, I brushed my medium length silver hair out of my eyes and chuckled, letting my head hit the wall behind me with an echoing thud.
I looked around me and took in all of my surroundings with a smile.

I was in a dimly lit cave, with a fire right in front of me, and puddles all around. There was a tunnel, one way In and only one way out, and i could see light spilling through it. The walls were rough and smooth both, and then finally my eyes landed on the center of attention. Cyrus.

I examined him closely, carefully, making sure I was right, and I'll be damned if I wasn't. He was alive, and he looked perfectly fine. He was looking at me, with a slightly unreadable look on his face. He wasn't mad or pissed, but he obviously wasn't happy. He wasn't upset though, in fact, he looked slightly amused. As if he were to see this coming.

Then he tilted his head a little, showing his dragon neck tattoo, that I remember stretched across his back. It was really him. We both heard a loud noise and whipped our heads to my right, where the tunnel was and he smiled as if relieved whenever she walked through. What happened next completely blew my mind and left me utterly confused.

As I stood there looking and waiting to see who or what it was, a familiar tanned, almost burnt tan, colored girl with curly black hair stepped in. Only now she was bigger, more mature.
Halcyon. As I looked on in unbelief I stuttered out words, looking for some sort of explanation.

"But, but...what?" I asked in complete confusion. I heard them both laugh and then saw Cyrus walk towards me, causing me to automatically stand up by reflex. He went to punch me, but purposely missed, as if testing something, and that was when my reflexes kicked in, my arm shifting into dark green tendrils wrapping around his and throwing him across the cave.

He stood up with a chuckle and walked towards me again, holding up his hands in surrender. "Hey. I was just testing to see if you've figured it out yet." He said. "You see, I knew you had your powers. And i knew after our fight, it wouldn't be long till you discovered them either." He spoke, his voice coming out rich and smooth. Almost as if he was completely comfortable here around me.

"But, we killed you. I stabbed you with my gauntlet, and I saw you fall over the edge of the ship. How are you still alive? And WHAT the HELL is she doing here?" I asked, all of my questions pouring out. He smiled and nodded at me looking towards the fire. There was a bench litterally carved from a log to sit on. He looked at me and gestured to it, to sit down.

I did and he sat down next to me as well, with Halcyon by his side, wrapping her arm around him. He took a cup from her and handed it to me. "Care for a drink?" He said. As I looked at him timidly it was as if a look of realization dawned on his face. "Ahhh. No, Halcyon purified it. It's just plain water." He said.

I nodded and took the cup, gratefully, and uttered out a small thank you. It was weird thanking your enemy. He looked at me as if expecting something and then sighed. "Okay, ready to begin?" He asked. I didn't know what he was talking about, but I'm sure he meant why all this was happening. If not, oh well. If he tried to kill me it might as well happen anyways. I nodded my head.

"Okay. So, when you had stabbed me, I fell back out of the ship and crashed through a few trees. As I did, on the ground, I heated my hand and I sealed the wound shut for a little bit, only enough for me to get away. But I knew it was most definitely infected, and was quite possibly going to kill me. I drug myself out to the edge of the woods, stumbling until I was in the middle and found a tree to rest against, or more like, die on peacefully. And that's when she showed up." He said smiling, looking at Halcyon.

She looked at me and spoke up. "You see, I knew what he had done was wrong and I saw the fight and all of that happen through the hatch in the kitchen. That's why no one saw me. But even though he was wrong and mean, inherently evil, I thought he deserved a second chance. That was
Me personally. But I knew that no one else would agree, so I decided to pack some stuff in a bag and went out after him, following him. You see, my power is not only the ability to control and communicate with plants and animals, but also the ability to give off an either tranquil, peaceful kind of feeling or a violent crazed feeling. As I came up to him, he had shifted back to Cyrus, because see he has two personalities. Cyrus, and Ember. The latter being evil. So as I approached him, I calmed him down and I examined his wound. It was infected but i used some of the natural plants around here to concoct a antidote of sorts and healed him. Before long we decided to um. Get together. And then we came out here, deciding when it was a good time to approach you all again and try to explain everything."

I sat there for a moment taking it all in. My enemy, who was now not my enemy, was back from the dead, and the whole time Halcyon was gone, she was helping him. Ugh. Wow, okay.
"So," I began. "Are you evil?" I asked.

Cyrus looked at me and paused, his golden pupils looking at me. "Not quite." He said.
