We started our journey through the edge of the town and into the wasteland just beyond it very quickly. There was no jungle, there was no woods. Just dry cracked earth between two vastly different towns. Within an hour we were halfway there, and within two and a half, we were at the entrance.

The entrance was really just some of the tallest buildings there were. No gate, no wall, no...nothing, really. Just walk for long enough and you hit the first skyscrapers. The city went back from there. But looking on the map from my communicator, it was a very rough sketch of a square the way it was set up.

Up close you could see it all much clearer now. It was dark and shadowy due to the black and red sky, and the buildings themselves. They were all black and grey mostly, with a few deep brown and red ones. It was made of stone and metal and occasionally, some other types of metal we had never seen. Glass glistened with the metal, and stone crumbled down falling everywhere. There were stones coming up from the earth and glass and metal lay everywhere. You could see and sense the presence of the NecroHybrids everywhere.

I looked back at the group and sighed. "Remember what we said. Stick to the wall, explore what you can, follow the group, stay Alive, and um, try to have a little fun." I said with a smirk as I walked on. It was me and Kai at the front, Beckett behind us, Memphis and Rayven, then Cyrus and Halcyon, and Finally, Zeke and Atlas.

As we walked through the first couple of sky scrapers the whole city instantly got darker and we turned our flashlights on, except for Altas who basically radiated green light from his eyes. He pulled his black leather jacket over his vest and walked in front of us, lighting the way.

We were at least five buildings in before we turned right and started following them until the end. As we did we heard creaking and odd noises along the way.

Suddenly there was a loud, earth shaking roar, and a massive beast jumped out of one of the buildings landing directly in front of us. As it straightened up I saw just how big it was. He was a massive NecroHybrid, a mix between a rhino and a bear, horns and muscles bulging everywhere, as well as rows of razor sharp teeth. He was also easily eight feet tall, and apparently pissed off.

The sky was already black, and the buildings made it darker, so we quickly split up into two groups. Running behind buildings and ducking behind the stones. He was about four stones down, two buildings away, but with every step, he shook the ground.

Memphis, Zeke, and Atlas, were with me. Cyrus, Halcyon and Beckett, were with Kai. They had ran behind a building and were currently climbing the ladder to get inside. As they were doing so, two more hybrids jumped out into the middle of the street, literally ripping some of the stones jutting up, out of the ground. They threw them at the nearest building shattering the side of it and breaking some windows in the process, glass raining down.

"Okay." I said. "Zeke, you and me will take one of these guys head on. Memphis, you and Atlas head up into the building for some long range damage, got it?"
They nodded and the two of them headed up the ladder before getting atop the platform and opening the door, disappearing inside. I turned and looked at Zeke and nodded before peeking over the stone.

As I did, one of the Hybrids threw a rock at me, barely missing my face. I quickly pulled out my explosive ninja star and threw it at one of the more skinny looking hybrids to the left of the rhino guy. It buried itself into his shoulder and he let out a roar of anger punching the wall next to him. I quickly smashed the button on my hand and the blades shot out to the rhino guy and the building next to the one with the star in him. All at once, the blades exploded sending one of the Hybrids into a building and falling through the wall, and pushing the rhino one to the side.

He just shrugged it off and kept his eyes locked dead on us and I sighed knowing this was going to hurt. I vaulted over the stone with Zeke and started running after the main hybrid who also started running after me. Before I got up to him, I turned my left fist into a spiked ball and smashed it into his face, making him stumble back a few steps.

To my right Zeke activated his brass knuckles and punched his guy in the stomach, doubling him over, before sending a fistful of spikes into his face and kicking him back, blood flying everywhere. In the meanwhile, the one who was in the wall let out a roar and went to run after me before a long blade shot through his skull from above and sent him flying back into his building. I looked and Memphis and smiled before I returned my attention to the brute in front of me.

He stomped hard, shaking the ground and making me stumble before charging at me and grabbing me, throwing me into a wall. I hit the wall with a loud thud, hearing the cracks in the wall spread behind me. As I fell down, I looked at my stomach and was beyond grateful I had armor, cause if not, that surely would have shattered my ribcage.

As I stood up, I looked back at the rhino charging at me and I jumped up, turning my arm into a whip of sorts and grabbing the nearest windowsill as he rammed headfirst into the wall. As he did I dropped down and kicked him in the head, jumping off of him and rolling to the side. Just as I thought I was going to finish this off, boy was I wrong.

Two more Hybrids came out, just as big as him, giving us five to deal with.
I sighed and clicked on the communicator before groaning. "Everyone get your asses ready. We've got a long fight ahead of us." I said.
And with that, I charged at the hybrid in front of me, with my arm as a sword, and cut his head off, as you do.
