After the battle that went down earlier happened we all decided not to take a break. It wasn't safe.
So we trekked on even further till we were at about the outskirts of the forest where the trees were dying and the Wasteland began. You could see red and gray and brown mountains in the distance.

As I slowed down I let Memphis walk beside me, Beckett leading the way.
"Hey baby. How are you doing?" I asked her. She smiled at me.

"With all of this? Eh.. it's alright." She shrugged. "But at least I have you." She said smiling as she gave me a quick kiss. We heard Kai and Rayven go "awwwww" behind us and just chuckled as we moved forward. Soon enough we reached the first mountain, that was originally Becketts base, or more like, home. Kai, Beckett, Cyrus and I all stood up on the top of the giant hill, basically, and stared off into the distance in front of us at the town.

"First, we gotta get across this gulch." I said, gesturing to the magnificent yet gaping deadly canyon that lay before us, separating us from the other side.

"Yea. There's gotta be some way to get across it." Beckett said. We all looked around and aside from a few slabs of stone sticking up, there was no way across it.

"Wait." I said, looking around. These stones are big enough and definitely  heavy enough that they could hold some of our rope. But... how are we gonna get it up and out of the ground?" I asked. We heard a couch and all turned around as Rayven and Memphis looked at each other.

Memphis stepped forward. "Allow me, boys." She said. She stepped passed us and eyed the distance, which was about 40 feet across. Then she turned around and walked up to a giant slab, about 15 feet tall, and then lightly pressed her hand to it, before tapping it with her finger. Before anyone knew what was happening  the slab shot up from the earth exposing another 15 feet of rock and landed sideways on the ground.

She then turned and walked by me giving me a small kiss on the cheek and a wink. Huh. So that was her power. My girlfriend was telekinetic.
She walked over to Atlas and whispered something to him and Rayven and they all nodded as if agreeing on something. She then jumped on Atlas's back as if piggyback riding and a belt sort of encircled them both, and then they were off the ground. Atlas shot up and flew across the canyon where he set her down, and she did the same thing to a rock there, as she did over here, seeing a 30 foot stone fly in the air.

I felt my watch buzzing and turned on the communicator. "Hey, Rhent? Babe? Do you have any of the thick metal rope?" She asked, from across the gulch.

"Yea, why?" I called back.

"I need you to embed it into that stone. And then throw the other end over here." She said. I shrugged my shoulders and pulled out my 30 foot rope as well as Kais, and had Cyrus  melt them together. We then had Zeke shove the pointed end of the thick wire into the rock, embedding it at least a solid foot in.

I then picked up the rope and threw it across the gulch, expecting it to just drop and fall. You know, like a 60 foot metal wire. But instead it hovered there and stretched across, nailing the other rock as well. And then, she lifted it up and plummeted the rock back down into the ground, pulling the metal wire tight.

We all looked at each other and shrugged and one by one slid down the wire using what was essentially  a metal hanger, till we all made it across. I then pulled out my sword and cut the wire before we pushed the stone into the canyon. We then stood up, dusted ourselves off, and continued on. We wandered through the cliffs and mountains, going up and down, up and down, until eventually, we ended up just a little bit away from the first shack in the small town. We all stumbled our way to the entrance and paused taking in the little town in front of us.

There were tons of little houses, some of them stacked on top of each other three at a time, all connected by stairs. There were also some decent sized buildings which I'm guessing were stores of some sort. But it was all so weird. It was like a mix of westerns and scifi all at one.

I heard Kai take a deep breath. "Hey, uh. You ever see Blade Runner? Or just Blade? Or oh idk, Alien? Yea that's what I'm getting here. Big space vibes. Alien vibes. Except for the saloon in front of us." He said. I looked at him and smiled before I slung my arm around his shoulder and walked in the bar/saloon. It was by all means, far from cozy. I mean, there were dim lit lights and lanterns everywhere, smoke was pouring out of every room, and humanoid, and the smell of liquor, well that was the same. That reminded me of bars back home, you know, on earth where things were normal.

Kai and I walked up to the Bar and sat down next to some heavy set, massively ripped looking biker dude. Who wasn't a dude. He was up until the neck, which was covered in tattoos and then there was his head. It was pretty human except his eyes were pure red and he had four rows of razor sharp teeth, two on top, and two on the bottom. He had a long slimy tongue that flicked out and in, and had tattoos all over his bald head.

Kai looked at me and smiled sheepishly, as worried as I was. Then, we both heard a deep rumbling growl as we turned around. "What're you doing here? And who the hell are you?" Growled the massive man gator who was probably about to eat us.
