As I said this, Crunk charged at me, apparently all his muscles working on full blast. He ran forward, the table raised and I kicked him in the stomach pushing the blade out of my boot, and then spinning around and kicking the table sending him flying down, and tumbling on the dirt.
I looked over and saw Kai's tattoos moving as his eyes glossed over. The gator woman charged him, but instead of running away, he summoned a dagger out of darkness and smashed the head of it into her mouth, clearly knocking out a few teeth and sending her flying backwards.
This earned quite a reaction from the crowd as everyone cheered and he took a bow. All of a sudden I felt two hands grip me from behind on my shoulders and fling me backwards into the cage. I felt the metal and wire slice into my back as I fell down to the ground, where Crunk was waiting for me with a chair which he smashed on my back.
I grabbed his ankle as he raised the chair up once more and sliced the tendon behind his ankle with my gauntlet blade causing him to scream out in agony and pain. I sat up, my lip split and my clothes covered in dirt hovering over his body. I activated the blade in my boot again and drove it into his side before pulling out my sword and cutting his head off, earning yells of glee from the crowd.
As I looked up I saw the gator woman on Kai who's eyes were practically radiating white. She picked him up and threw him across the ring to where Crunks severed and dead body was, which was, looking back at it, a major mistake on her part.
Kai stretched his hand out to Crunks arm, wielding a chair, and lifted it up, and in the process detached the arm from the body and flung both it and the chair at her. It smacked her in the face and sent her up into the air and Kai used the dagger to literally Vlad the Impaler style stake her when she fell down.
We stood up and I slung off my trench coat and grabbed the sash, picking up my sword. Kai tightened his vest and pulled out the crossbow and we stood ready for the next challenge. But we didnt see it coming. Literally. I felt a punch and a blow landed on my face sending me down. I looked up at Kai with a bewildered look on my face before he got sent down too. Then I saw it. A vague outline of two bodies. Invisible, skinny, yet muscular creatures.
As they teamed up kicking Kai and shoving him, I grabbed the glass bottle of green sticky liquid and threw it at them, as hard as I could, the bottle shattering. It took a second but soon the green stuff burned and bubbled steaming and scorching their skiing until they both crumbled to the ground writhing in pain until they were eventually just still.
I picked Kai up and leaned against the wall and he looked at me. "Acid." I said, leaving no room for anything else. He nodded and grabbed a blue liquid filled bottle. He popped off the cork and threw the bottle at the entrance of the door and blue spikes shot up from the floor, just in time to trip and cut up the next challengers. This time there were four. That makes this the third and fourth challenge.
There was two women, a tigerish one and a vampire. And then there was two men. One vampire, only extremely ripped, probably on the same drugs as Crunk, and a minotaur basically. Both of the vampires came and me and I backed away from the entrance to the wall. The girl charged at me and I ducked swinging my foot under her, catching her leg and tripping her before smashing her face into half a table. I spun around in time to see the Male vampire swinging a bat at my face which I side stepped.
He then swung at my feet knocking me down and hitting my stomach repeatedly until I called my powers forth and the slimy substance covered my body hardening to rock and snapping the bat the next time the vampire went to hit me. I looked at the shocked vampire and shook my finger in a no-no motion before activating the blade in my boot and kicking him in the neck. As I stood up he wobbled in place before I snapped his neck and pushed him down in front of the girl with my boot.
She looked at me enraged and bared her fangs then charged at me blind with rage, swinging a sword. I sidestepped it and brought my gauntlet blade, glowing hot across her throat, literally cutting off her head, And sidekicked her body away before turning to look at Kai.
He was on top of the minotaur holding onto his horns before the bull swung him around. As he swung him around Kai let go and drop kicked the tiger woman, boot first shoving the blade into her mouth. As he stood up he kicked her head snapping her neck and jumped out of the way of the minotaur. He then raised the dead tiger woman's arm up and dug the claws into the bull's side bringing him down screaming in pain. Kai walked up to him and shot him in the forehead between the horns with the crossbow sending blood back to the walk behind him and kicking both dead bodies over.
He then walked over to me and our last two challengers came out. The first two were pretty easy to describe another guy Vampire on drugs, but like heavy drugs, and a wolf/man hybrid who was also on drugs. Claws and fangs and foaming at the mouth with pure black eyes. The other two weren't that easy. There was one that was pretty human except it had no eyes and rows of teeth and four razor edged tentacles, and the other one was a scaled four armed gator man with a whip tail. We were in for a good time.
