Chapter Twenty Three - Something Isn't Right

( Y/N POV )

Moaning as I turned over in the cage the arms around me made, ignoring the prick I felt from the claws running along my skin I tried to return to the dream I had been having; but quickly whatever it was I was dreaming about disappeared leaving me to face realty again. Huffing my I pushed myself up slowly only to be abruptly pulled back into a hot chest, my eyes shooting open in mild shock as I was suddenly fully awake and aware of Karn nuzzling into me shoulder and hair; something I was now used to which I hated for the simple comfort it have me every morning. I couldn't lie to myself and say I hadn't settled into this new life, but it didn't mean I was had forgotten how I ended up here or accepted Karn anymore than I had the day I sacrificed my freedom; it was just so tiring to fight everything and I didn't have it in me to hate the others here for what HE had done. "It is far too early to try and leave our bed Mate" Karn's voice was deeper and husky from just waking up despite being muffled as he settled against my skin, there was no anger in it though just the same calm and almost gentle tone I heard each morning; one I found he only used with me in the privacy of the den. Looking back I found his eyes half lidded watching me, the colour shimmering around his slitted pupil in the low light of the burnt down fire as he remained focused on me; the intensity of it was something I would never get used to leaving me to squirm slightly subconsciously. The action made my backside rub against Karn's lower half because of how he had curled around me, the rumbling growl that followed alerting me to what I had done; making me quickly try to move away from Karn but was held in place by his arms and tail as they wound around me tightly. I knew what was coming next but all the same I tried to move away again, all it got me was a nip to the shoulder as Karn lifted one of my legs up; moving it so my leg was now pulled back to hook over his waist as I felt something begin to rub between my legs. A shudder racking my body as it ran over my very sensitive centre with a little more force, my breathing increasing as one of my hands fisted into the furs under me while the other grasped the closest arm; my nails digging in despite knowing it had near to no effect. A clawed hand began to massage one of my breasts while the other travelled lower, the slight scrape of fangs and open mouthed kissed peppering my shoulder and column of my throat keeping me from focusing on anything but Karn's movements; with each passing day he seemed to become more tender with his ministrations. His roughness didn't change but Karn offered far more kisses and touches than before and I hated it, it made his attentions feel more like I was with a lover than a kidnapping monster; something which I would never let myself forget that he was even if I did make peace with living here at his side. As always though I couldn't dwell on the thoughts as Karn circling my clit making me gasp, his thrusts steady and deep as he continued to take my body to his pleasure; I knew what he was doing keeping me on edge until he was ready. Trying to calm I breathing I let my head fall down wanting to settle into the pillows but found Karn's arm already in place, I scowled knowing he did it on purpose it was one of the ways he made me touch him willingly; he wouldn't let go of me or withdraw from my body until he was ready meaning I had no way to move away and has to use his arm to rest. Sighing through my nose I lay down against his arm feeling the hand attached stroke my hair from where it lay above me, Karn's steady breaths still on my neck and shoulder as he finally stopped his nuzzling; he wasn't sleeping but he was not going to move either simply getting himself comfortable. Knowing wouldn't do anything while I slept other than hold me I let myself begin to drift into sleep again, I had wanted to get up but for now that wasn't an option; so I might as well take advantage of the warmth surrounding me.
