JIMIN P.O.V

"Jieun, I love you."

Finally I said her those words I was dreading to tell for so long.

I kept looking into those beautiful eyes while she did the same with shock written all over her face.

Neither of us uttered any word until she thought of bringing an end to the awkward silence with her nervous laugh.

"Jimin, that was a great joke. *hehe* Better than Seokjin, you know?"

"I ain't joking. I'm serious."

Without a single blink I said her firmly. In reply I saw her gulping nervously.

"Jimin...."

Saying my name from her soft voice she started to trail at the end of her words. I thought of taking this as the cue to talk my heart out.

"I felt like this since a very long time. At the very moment I saw you, I knew that it was you. That you were the person to be in my life."

"But Ji-

"Listen to me first."

She sealed her lips once again and gave a small nod in my way.

"I've never felt this way before. You have no idea about what you are doing to me. It's... it's just... you make me go crazy. You make me want to bring the entire world to your hands. The day can be worse but when ever I hear your voice, when ever I see your smile, all my worries are washed away. You... are my remedy."

She didn't say anything. Some part of me was scared of what my confession can do to our relationship in the future but currently I don't care about anything. I just want to talk my heart out.

".... I want you by my side in my best times as well as in my bad times. I don't wanna let you go. You've already seen my vulnerable side that I don't like to show anyone else. Not even my brothers. I don't mind to show you who I really am 'cause I love you and I need you. When I say... I love you... I really mean it. I want to be by your side just as your brother. No.... I want to be someone more than your brother. Will you be my girlfriend?"

This time I was expecting her to reply me but she never did. Her silence was freaking me out.

"Umm... Jimin I...umm..."

"Never mind. You can take your time."

After everything I said to her, I wasn't ready to hear her rejection. So I cut her in the middle of her stuttering and with that we hit the road again.

The entire drive back to Jieun's place was silent. Neither of us uttered a single word.

Parking the car in front of her house I got down and helped her to take the bags from the back of the car.

"So... see you."

"Hmm. Bye."

With a simple bye she started to take a couple of steps towards her house but to my surprise she suddenly stopped on her tracks and started to walk back to me.

"Umm... Jimin... about what you asked earlier....-"

"Ah~ don't worry about that. Just take as much as time you need. Now go inside."
