CHAPTER 15

After the kids were done with there practices for the day, we thought of cleaning our acts as well. We are also planning of giving a little shout out about this programme in our tonight's Vlive so we could collect more funds for these innocent souls.

"One last time guys. Let's push through this."

Giving a word of encouragement Hoseok Hyung walked back to where his phone was placed.

"Ready boys?"

Walking around the stage we went back to our positions.

"Okay. 5,6,7,8"

As soon as his countdown was over our song Black Swan started to blast through the speakers.

While dancing my eyes would search for Jieun who was sitting in a corner of the room along with the rest of the girls. 

Every time our eyes meet she would send me finger hearts or some thumbs ups just to encourage me. Honestly, nothing is needed for me to do better other than a genuine smile from her.

We were almost done with the performance when an unexpected presence entered the room.

"Kang Daniel."

Entering the room, he straightaway headed towards where Jieun was sitting. As soon as she saw him, she stood up from the seat out of reflex. Despite my limbs moved according to the music booming through the speakers, my mind and eyes were somewhere else.

"What does this guy want from her now? Doesn't he have any shame to come in front of her like that after every word that left his bloody mouth?"

Boiling inside I questioned myself.

Once the song ended I jumped off the stage and took long steps towards where Jieun was.

"Umm...anything the matter?"

Plastering a fake smile I inquired while sending a protective hand over Jieun's shoulder. Seeing my gesture Daniel looked at me and Jieun back and forth before a small sneer left his mouth.

"How can I help you Mister?"

Annoyed, I asked once again; this time in a different way.

"Nothing special. Just wanted to have a performance of me and Jieun on the day of the show, like we used to do once."

The last couple of words left his mouth while his eyes were fixated on Jieun. Hearing his expectations my brows raised in disbelief.

"Wow! Really bro? After being a dick to my girl now you wanna dance with her?"

"So what do you say Jieun? Shall we do this? For one last time?"

"Umm...yeah, sure. I'll perform with you."

"Wait, what?!!"

I looked at Jieun in utter surprise and shock. Never in this world I thought she'd give her consent to that guy.

"Jieun, are you for real?"

Hearing Taehyung ask, I averted my eyes to see him standing beside me with a bewildered expression just like mine.

"Hmm. You know the studio right? Where we used to practice. Be there by five."

"Gotcha. And thank you so much for giving me this chance. See you then."
