My eyes were all on for a beautiful future with him but, why did you have to come and make me look back at my past.

PRESENT DAY
JIEUN P.O.V

"Hey Jieun!"

I heard Daniel saying and also I saw his lips moving. But I couldn't reply him. I was shell shocked and seeing him after nine long years brought some memories I wanted to burry deep inside my mind.

"Huh! Hey Jieun?!! You bloody bugger!"

I heard Taehyung saying  through gritted teeth. In the blink of an eye, he was standing right in front of Daniel with his fists tightly clenching the collar of Daniel's trenchcoat.

"I told you never to show that face of yours in front of Jieun again! What are you doing here Kang Eui Geon?"

"Came to meet old friends."

Daniel said nonchalantly.

"Friends you say?! Weren't we friends back then when you shit talked about us, Huh?"

Anger, hatred, anguish and betrayal was lacing his voice. Taehyung's eyes were burning in fury and his fists held tightly into Daniel's collar that his knuckles has turned white.

"Tae, Taehyung Oppa."

I took two long steps towards him and stood right next to him. Placing my right hand on his, I was able to make him look at me.

"No. Don't. He doesn't worth your anger."

For the entire time my eyes were on Taehyung's. As soon as I uttered the final words I felt Daniel's gaze falling on me.

Sparing a glare at Daniel, Taehyung backed away from him. Without waiting for another second he left the room.

For the entire time all the girls and Bangtan members were looking at us in shock and confusion. Ever since Daniel's and my eyes met I could feel Jimin's questioning gaze on me. I felt his eyes moving back and forth between me, Daniel and Taehyung.

"Jimin, can you go and check on Taehyung?"

Facing him I asked.

"But-"

"He needs you right now Jimin."

Before he could protest, I added. Stretching his lips into a thin line and placing his hands in his pockets, Jimin gave me a slow nod. But before leaving the room he didn't forget to give a stink eye in Daniel's way.

"Why don't you guys go and have some lunch?"

Forcing a smile, I said. Giving me a knowing look Namjoon headed out of the room and the rest of the guys followed him.

Yumi was the last to leave the room. In all honesty, she wasn't willing to leave the room until I gave her a reassuring nod along with a smile. Further, I had to promise to tell her everything later.

Despite not knowing anything just like Jimin, Yumi too glared at Daniel before sashaying her way out of the room.

That action brought a genuine smile to my lips. It reminded me that though things may go downhill, I've a great sister and a friend to fight back along side with me.

"Why all these people are glaring at me?"

I heard Daniel muttering under his breath. Taking a deep breath and calming down my nerves, I turned around to face him.
