Chapter 36

(XENA’S POV)

I left the country with a heavy heart.

Nakuha ko pa ngang umiyak bago ako umalis pero hindi ko pinakita. I want to tell all those people whom I’ve left that I’m a strong woman who can handle such problems. But deep inside I was just a little girl who wants to be loved and cherished by the people around me.

I started a new life when I got to Korea. I lived a simple life together with my family until I graduated high school. They didn’t have to know the real reason why I had to move back.

 I focused my 4 years in America studying and now I am a successful business woman. Since the day I left Philippines wala na ‘kong connection sa mga friends ko and wala na ‘kong balita tungkol sakanila.

So if I see them now, it’s the first time in 5 years.

“Ate the car’s here”, si Ethan

My brother is studying college here in the Philippines. He had enough with Korea daw. Nagsasawa na siya so he decided to stay here and as for me I’m the new President of our subsidiary company.

“Hi Mang Ben! Namiss ko po kayo!”, I cheerfully said. Nandito pa rin siya as our driver pati si Yaya Mel. Sana inalagaan nila ng maayos ang Audi ko~

Nang makarating kami sa bahay sinalubong agad kami ni Yaya Mel and of course may nakahanda ng lunch for all of us. Namiss ko ang Pilipinas!

I accompanied Ethan para mag enroll. He decided to study at Woodley University. He chose that school on his own. He doesn’t want to study at Uni High kasi daw nag-aral na ko dun.

I thank him pa nga for doing that dahil ayokong may makakilala sa ‘kin and of course the memories I have in there.

After he enrolled we went to the mall to buy necessary things. We also shopped for clothes and shoes and my finals top…

SALON

“Ma’am are you sure? Ang haba po ng buhok niyo para gupitan agad ng apple cut”, echoserang parlorista. Kaya nga nagpapagupit diba? Para bawasan yung buhok

“Yes I’m sure. I don’t mind if it’s gonna be that short. Dye it light brown na din”

Ethan is reading magazines habang hinihintay ako. I had no expression at all when they cut my hair. Idodonate ko nalang siguro ang buhok ko sa mga cancer patients.
