Eternal Reality
Every prayer uttered, echoes within the walls of my mind
Time and time again; reverberating in the deep confines
Ethereal your countenance, imperial your form
Remedial your touch, within it brings a storm
Negate my reality, nihilate my being,
Alas you're eternal, all-knowing, all-seeing
Life saps and ails me, my soul is a-creeping; seeping
Remembrance is key; a root in the ground
Etched far as can see, is the reality of thee
And at long last it comes, the realisation all around
Like waves crashing at the shore, a cruel mercy in sight
In grains of sand, and mountains alike
The last ray of hope; vast and boundless
You appear; the eternal reality always around us
