*Note* Includes all 10 words, inspired by The Lady of Shallot.

She felt the calm respect of the river beneath her

the chill of autumn wind rushing upon her cheeks

her boat launched, gliding upon the murky waters

a ghost still beside her, listening to the words she wove

her story an echo in soft evening light, severed by shadows

time passing, yet frozen for the Lady

enrapt, bold in her theater of words

her lake a catalog of shining blue

her tragedy of the heart, her determination to flood her senses

with dreadful, sublime treats of maddening delight

fantasies to sever her from the wretched reality

beyond the pages of her soul.
