Entombed

the East River

echoed your name

to give away

where you were entombed

your face; ghostly pale

colder than the

South Pole

was your lifeless body

broken phalanges

with the pull of gravity

at your funeral

father was at

the edge of insanity

nameless people

paying respects

truly you saddened

all of humanity

your last message

"take care of the family"

you, yourself wounded

father dies a million deaths daily

all these years; he still believes you're near

guess you should have thought before

treating yourself with a dive; suicide...
