A Lake Of Tears - On Sea
All inhale her siren's song
Lingering in craving hearts so hollow,
Ailing beneath moonless nights the
Keeper of many a mortal soul,
Entangling once pure devotion.
On eventide - waves unlit in a
Fickle haze of glistening dew.
Tears of teal pouring over soaking skin
Ever lonely in their weakening hours,
Awakening from an enchanting voice
Revisiting verity, to fall into a siren's
Sea of softly drowning cries.
Over golden horizons melodies of
Near grieving swallows swell.
Seeking comfort for the lost in
Enticing song and serenades,
Aimlessly roaming fecklessly
fallen waters.
