The Right Side

Chapter 11

As I calm Delaney down, because she got too excited that Ash put a blanket over me, I think  about the dream. It was a wonderful dream like I've never had before.

"What are you thinking about?" Delaney asks.

"Just a silly dream." I say and I pick up the book I was reading from the coffee table and continue to read.

"Tell me!!" She says shaking my arm and I laugh. I resisted the dream to her detail by detail.

"YOU SO LIKE HER!!" She say pointing in my face. "Which is great because-"

"What did you do?" I asked groaning.

"Hey I didnt do anything! Butttttt! Zac and Liam are going to get Ash to go the the forbidden river! It will be fun!" She says trying to convince me.

"You lost me at forbidden." I say opening my book.

"Please! Come on! Avery I really like him... his name... it's starting to get printed on my back..." She says looking down.

"What do you mean his name is being printed on your back?" I ask closing my book.

"Well every demon has a tattoo on their back that changes with you-" I cut her off.

"Ash told me that." I say nodding.

"Well when you love someone their name prints itself on your back. You know you are falling for them when their name starts appearig on your back. Half the z is forming... I don't know what to do."

I smile at her.

"Fine I'll go." I say and she squeals.

"I'll get you ready!" She says looking for a bathing suit.

Ash's POV

I am laying in my bed with my face in a pillow. It may or may not be the pillow that Avery laid on last night. I am laying on my stomach trying to get back some sleep. I didn't sleep at all last night. I sat on one of the bean bags curled up. Avery was so peaceful. She looked so care free. I wanted that for her.

I hear my door open and I look up. It's Zac and Liam. I groan and put my head back in the pillow.

"Did someone not get any sleep last night?" Zac asks.

"If my sources are correct I heard Avery didn't leave your room till this morning." I hear Liam say.

I groan. "You guys have that obnoxious voice. You know that right?" I say lifting my head out of the pillow and turning on my back. They are sitting on either sides of me.

"Well Liam and I have an idea." Zac starts.

"The answer is no. It's stupid and someone might get hurt." I say and close my eyes again. "On second thought that sounds fun... what's the idea."

"I am taking Delaney to the forbidden river and she is takin Avery. If you don't come that leaves her and Liam alone. In a river." Zac says and pokes my stomach. I push him off the bed.

"You guys suck." I say getting out of bed and going to my bathroom.

I hate them.
