Chapter 30

Avery's POV

I lay with Ash laying her head on my chest and her arms are wrapped around me. Her leg is over mine and my arms are rubbing up and down her back while we lay on her bed.

"Avery if you could see anyone in the world. Meet anyone who would it be." Ash asks lightly. We have been asking each other these types of questions all night.

"My mom. She left when I was young to go to the other side of the world that used to be Germany to help them colonize over there." I say and she gently rubs her nose on my collar bone. I smile lightly. "She was so beautiful. She had an amazing smile. I wish I could know if she was okay."

"I'll tell you what." She says lifting herself up a little to look at me. "When your father agrees to sign the scrolls so you can go between both sides... I will take you over there and we will find her."

"When?" I ask tucking her hair behind her ear.

"Mhm." She says bring herself back down. I put my hands on her jaw cupping her face and pulling it down to mine.

My lips take hers. I slowly make the kiss deeper. Ash lays back on top of me as I turn us over. I pull away from our kiss to look into her eyes. They glow green in the dark. I trace my thumb on her lip and smile at her.

Ashes POV

I look up at Avery as her arms prop her up. Her blonde hair is flipped over to one side as she smirks at me.

I feel her thumb traces my bottom lip making my stomach twist. My heart stops for a moment as I look in ocean blue eyes.

She is so beautiful. She was beautiful when I met her but there is something about confidence in her smirk. The way her hair is parted with bits of highlights from the sun. She is now a healthy weight because no one is starving her.

"What?" She asks smiling.

"You're... you... you're just s-so beautiful." I whisper and her smile gets bigger.

"No one had ever called me beautiful before..." she whisper back.

I stare at her in shock. My month is left open ajar. She smiles and kisses my cheek.

"We need to get some sleep. My father is coming tomorrow." She said rolling off or me and wrapping her arms around me. I turn my back to her as she holds me.

I'm so happy.

"Who would have thought?!" Wakes me up. "Ash is the little spoon." I hear Liam laugh.

I slowly open my eyes and feel Avery getting off of me. "What are you guys doing here so early in the morning?"I groan.

"We are year because we wanted to have breakfast together before we have all the problems with Francis." Zac said finishing up laughing.

"Get out. We will be down." I say and they leave the room. I roll in the bed to look at Avery. She has a sleepy smile while she looks at me.

The sun rising shines in her face showing her most beautiful features.

"Agh!" I say grabbing my back. There is a sharp shooting pain in my lower back.

"What are you okay?!" Avery saying getting worried.

"Mhm ya it's.. uh it's just a Charlie's horse. Nothing to worry about." I say and she nods and kisses my cheek as she gets up and heads to the door. "Uh I'll come and get you in 15? Is that good with you?" I say propping myself up on the bed.

"See you then." She says with a soft smile. When she closes the door I fall back on the bed smiling.

Avery's POV

I get in my room and quickly get ready. Like quickly. Who gets ready in 15 minutes?! I smile at this thought.

I mean of course Ash gets ready in 15 minutes. She grabs the first clean shirt in the drawer and then grabs the first clean jeans she has in another drawer. Then she brushes her teeth and runs her hand through her hair cause she has a perfect messy hair style.

Why do I know her whole schedule? I shake myself out of my head. I finish up my light make up and leave my bathroom at the same moment I hear a knock at my door. I look in my mirror and nod at myself.

Dad is going to hate it. I am wearing a off the shoulder black shirt that stops just above my belly button. I am wearing black ripped jeans and converse. I nod at myself and open my door.

Ash gives me a light smile and we go to breakfast.

"So are you ladies official yet?" Liam asks half way through breakfast.

"No." Ash and I say at the same time.

"Two negatives equal a positive." Zac says.

"Ti ucciderò nel sonno, amico." (I'm going to kill you in your sleep, mate.) Ash says yo Zac and I shake my head. They are about to have a conversation that I don't understand.

"Hai paura di fare minacce di morte accanto alla tua ragazza?" (Are you afraid to make death threats next t your girlfriend?) Liam smirks.

"Non è la mia ragazza." (Shes no-not my girlfriend) Ash says to Liam and Zac laughs.

"Sure." They both say at the same time.

"I should really learn Italian." I say chuckling.

"Yes you should." Zac and Liam say but Ash just says no.

Liam looks down at his watch. "We have to go to the helicopter pad." He states standing up. We all get up and go to the pad.

We are standing there when the Heli is landing.

"Ash don't make a fool of us." Hades says watching the heli.

"No promises." Ash says and I look up at her. "He hurt you. If he says anything wrong I will end him."

The heli lands and guards open the doors. First one out is Natasha who runs up and wraps me in a hug. I hug her back.

"You won't believe what is about to happen." She whispered in my ear and then let's go of me. She then looks up at Ash. "Hey there hot stuff." She says and Ash just shakes her head.

I look and see my father get out of the Heli and hold is hand out. Another hand lightly takes it as he helps them out of the car. It's a woman.

She has light skin and a beautiful dress on. Her hair is like gold and when she looks up I see beautiful blue eyes catch mine. I look at her smile and that's when I know for sure.

It's my mom.
