Ch. 20 - Nightmare

I wake up with a fright and glance around. It's still dark outside.

Luke is still asleep and I don't want to wake him up, even if my heart is racing and eww I'm sweating like crazy, so I climb out of bed and find my diary in the darkness.

The red numbers on my digital clock on my bedside table say it's 4:12am...

I sneak out of the room and lock myself in the bathroom before flicking the light on.

Time to vent.

Dear Stupid Diary,

I just had the worse nightmare ever.

Gosh, my writing is really messy at the moment because I'm still trembling.

Anyway, in the dream... Luke & I were at school, kissing on the side of the oval during lunch, (okay, that part was awesome).. Calum & Ashton were there, too (also kissing).. But suddenly, it was like the whole school was surrounding us, and they started attacking us. At first it was just name calling (shit about being gays) and then they got closer and started beating us up.

It was about then that I woke up.

I know that's unlikely to happen, I doubt the whole school would literally turn against us...

But my old school did...

And this school used to bully Luke for it... Or maybe they only did it because of me?

Ugh, I'm so scared. I don't want to go to school today... But I know I have to...

I don't know what to think...
