"My mum's going to kill me, you know that, right?" Luke laughs as we run in the opposite direction of the school.

"Why's that?" I ask with a smirk, and seconds later I can hear the first bell ring at the school.

"My perfect attendance, ruined because of a boy" he says dramatically, even though we both know his attendance isn't perfect anyway, "Sounds like a stupid movie plot".

"Your life is a stupid movie plot" I joke in a serious tone.

"I saved a mute guys' life, I don't think my life is a stupid movie plot, I think it's a good one" Luke smiles as we slow down at the corner.

"You're right, it's my life that's a stupid movie plot" I mumble as I shake my backpack off of my shoulder so I could retrieve my hoodie out of it so I can cover my school shirt. Luke does the same.

"I don't think yours is stupid either" Luke tells me after a moment of thoughtful thinking. I raise an eyebrow at him and he continues, "You found your Prince Charming, did you not?".

"I did" I smile, tugging my hoodie on and zipping it up, "But instead of my night in shining armour, I got an idiot in tinfoil".

"Poor mans fairytale?" Luke laughs, "I don't have the money for a proper armour".

"Good enough for me" I chuckle, flinging my bag back onto my shoulder.

"Shit, is that the cops?" Luke asks as he quickly pulls his zipper up and reaches for his bag, "It is, come on, let's get moving".

Before I could speak, Luke is dragging me across the road and we are running towards the nearest bus stop.

Fortunately for us, just as we reach the bus stop, there is a bus pulling up to drop a few people off. The two of us jump on the bus and Luke pays for our tickets.

We head right to the back of the bus to sit at the end seats, which brings back memories of numerous bus rides for school trips, where everyone would make a mad dash for the back rows. I always ended up right at the front with the teachers though, because everyone hated me.

"I always ended up in the middle of the bus" Luke says nonchalantly, glancing towards the front of the bus, "On school trips".

"I was always right at the front with the teachers" I mumble.

"Oh, sorry" Luke says, pulling a face that says 'oops, shouldn't of brought it up'.

"I got to here once though" I say cheerfully.

"What's the catch though?" Luke questions.

"I got thrown down the aisle and sprained my ankle" I sigh, "Luckily we were just going to the movies instead of somewhere that involved lots of walking".

"Well that sucks" Luke says, trying not to laugh.

"Tell me about it" I chuckle.

Dear Stupid Diary,

"How did we end up here?"

Laying together in Luke backyard after a long day of not going to school, and that's the one question Luke had stuck in his head.

How did we go from I-want-to-kill-you to I-couldn't-picture-myself-with-anyone-but-you?

We were tired, it was nowhere near nightfall and we were just about falling asleep as we watched the clouds floating over the top of us.

Then Luke grabbed a notebook & pen and started writing... He was writing a song, a song that he called 'End Up Here'.

"It's our song" he said when he was halfway through writing it. And then it really was our song because I ended up helping him finish writing it.

Today was a good day, a really, really good day! c:

I am sooooo tired now, so I'm going to bed early..
