Ch. 14 - Boyfriends

Hurry up, hurry up! I think to myself as the teacher blabbers on about the weekend homework she just set for us to do, the same homework I won't do, because ew homework.

I'm about to just jump up and leave when she finally dismiss us.. Finally, the bell went five minutes ago! I think to myself as I dart towards our lunch table.

"Look who finally got out of class" Calum jokes as I sit down.

I give him a look as if to say, ugh tell me about it.

"Mrs. Dawson always keeps you in to talk" Ashton complains.

"I know, I had her for English last year and she was always holding us back to talk about something irrelevant" Luke says, rolling his eyes.

"So, Michael" Ashton says cheekily, "I hear you spoke the other day".

Oh my god, oh my fucking god! My cheeks start to turn red with embarrassment and I hide my face in my hands.

"Luke!" Ashton fake moans before he, Luke & Calum start snickering.

Stop it! Stop it! Stop it! I pout at Luke.

"Sorry, Mikey" Luke chuckles.

Meany.

"You love me" Luke jokes, sticking his tongue out at me.

Yes, I do. I smile at him fondly.

"That's kind of creepy.. How you have a conversation with him even though he's not speaking... I can only really ask yes/no questions or just be telling him something he doesn't have to reply to" Ashton laughs.

"It's kind of cool, actually" Calum pipes up.

"It's cool but it's still creepy" Ashton tells Calum.

"I don't normally think about it" Luke shrugs before smiling up at me. "Hey, Mikey, wanna head to the library?" He asks me.

I smile and nod at him.

Luke & I say goodbye- or I just smile and wave- to Calum & Ashton before we make our way to the library.

We find our usual hiding spot and snuggle up together on the floor against the wall.

"Hey.. Mikey?" Luke asks after a few minutes of silence.

I sit up so I can look him in the eyes.

"Are we... Are we dating? Like boyfriends?" He asks nervously.

I deadpan him as if to say, I fucking hope so. Then smile and nod.

"Oh, thank god!" He exclaims, a huge grin covering his face.

I smile at him and connect our lips together. When we stop kissing, I snuggle back up to Luke and he starts playing with my hair.

Dear Stupid Diary,

I don't have much to say about today, BUT LUKE AND I ARE OFFICIALLY DATING!!!! :D

I mean, I kind of already guessed that we were but now we defiantly are and I'm so happy (:

Luke asked me on a date for tomorrow, I obviously said yes! But he won't tell me where it is... So it's going to drive me insane until then...

Anyway, I'm going to go read some more of Looking For Alaska before I go to bed c:
