I think I'm going to make the Hobi one a series since several people requested it, so look forward to part 3 soon!
"Jimin hurry up! We have to be there in 15 minutes!"
Jimin sighed. He was only trying to find a nice outfit for the cruise. But the staff were on a very tight schedule, and they were not having it.
Finally fitting himself with striped skinny jeans and a tucked-in beige t-shirt, Jimin left his room and grabbed a quick breakfast of an apple and one of Jungkook's pieces of toast (cut diagonally of course) (if y'all eat toast cut longways then get out).
"Jimin come on! Everyone else is ready to leave-"
"Alright I'm coming!"
He ran outside to the minibus, now camera ready since there were some in the vehicle's interior.
Jin glared playfully at Jimin as he frantically did his seatbelt and threw his duffel bag at his feet. He had been situated at a window seat for his travel sickness, despite being late. He appreciated the thoughtfulness.
Jungkook was already asleep in his seat, which was beside Namjoon's. Namjoon was taking revenge pictures of his sleeping face after the drama from last time. He was sure ARMY would appreciate the cute maknae's photos.
"Hey, you Jimin today," Hoseok said from behind Jimin. He chuckled as he laid his head on Jin's shoulder.
Around twenty minutes later, everyone was pretty bored of the K-Dramas they had downloaded on their phones and decided to play Cards Against Humanity.
But they only got one round complete before they had arrived at the dock in which their ferry would be departing in fifteen minutes. The staff lead them to the right place and got them situated in a luxury private room.
Taehyung entered the room first and marvelled at how nice it looked. There were two bunk beds (in case of a long journey, but this was just a leisurely trip). A large window was on the far wall. There were two sofas placed at the wall to their left, which Jimin pounced on. Hoseok pounced on top of him.
"Ow, hyung! Stop, you're crushing my head!"
"Oh relax! I'm not anywhere near your-"
"Ow!"
Namjoon decided to avoid getting dragged into the head-butting battle and lounged in the top bunk by the window, staring into the ocean, wondering how many crabs were in there probably.
"Quite a view, huh," Namjoon heard from beside him, and turned to see Yoongi, who had buried himself in blankets, apparently ready to sleep already.
Namjoon cleared his throat,
"Uh, yeah, it's pretty nice." He watched as Yoongi put his earphones in and put his phone away, sinking into the pillow with a sigh.
"Are you going to sleep already, hyung?" Namjoon asked. Yoongi sighed and smiled feebly,
"Yeah, I hate to miss the view, but I'll get travel sick if I'm awake for too long in this weather."
Namjoon nodded and looked back to the window, which was slowly getting filled with small raindrops. He couldn't imagine how horrible it must be to be travel sick. All of the things that he would miss because he can't look out of the window.
An hour later, Yoongi was still asleep, peacefully to their relief, Jimin and Hoseok were tangled together on one sofa, both on their phones, Taehyung was on the other one playing on his Nintendo Switch. Seokjin was underneath Yoongi and he was attempting to sleep, but Jungkook, who was below Namjoon, was talking animatedly to him about deep sea diving.
"Namjoon... Namjoon-ah? Namjoon!"
Namjoon was startled from his deep thought session as he looked down to see Seokjin throw RJ at his face. His reflexes were too slow to react, and RJ hit him in the face and bounced away onto the floor.
"What happened? You zoned out, like super hard there, I thought you had died with your eyes open."
Namjoon suddenly became hyperaware of the ferry's slow tilting motion, and almost reached out to steady himself. But then he thought otherwise as to not worry the others and answered,
"Yeah, just... thinking."
He shouldn't have spent so much time reading his book. Everyone knows that if you focus your eyes on something small like that then you'll get dizzy. Namjoon was an idiot.
He scrubbed his face with his fist to try and come back to his senses, to no avail, as the room began to spin. Namjoon now knew what it was like to get travel sick.
Seokjin watched him struggle to keep still and wondered why. It was only when Namjoon's gaze turned to the window and he quickly looked straight down, not wanting to see the movement, that Seokjin realised. Was Namjoon getting travel sick?
Namjoon was the only member who hadn't gotten ill whilst travelling. Even steel-stomached Jungkook had an issue with long flights back during the Wings Tour. Namjoon seemed to be immune. But not anymore.
"Namjoon? Are you feeling alright?" Seokjin asked, attracting the attention of everyone but Yoongi, who tossed and turned at every dip of the boat.
Namjoon cleared his throat,
"Um, yeah I'm- I'm fine,"
"No you're not, shut up," Seokjin replied, getting up and quickly reaching up to feel Namjoon's forehead. Namjoon dodged him, not wanting to be babied. Seokjin gave him a look that was scary enough for Namjoon to give up and admit what was wrong,
"Okay fine, you win, something is wrong."
Seokjin crossed his arms, with an 'I thought so' waiting on his lips. But before he could say it, Namjoon threw himself back onto his bunk and sighed.
Seokjin watched as Namjoon curled up in the bunk, eyes closed.
"You're seasick, aren't you?" He asked sadly.
Namjoon nodded. Seokjin shook his head, knowing full well that it was because he was reading that damn book.
Everything after that happened in sequence, and extremely fast. Namjoon shot up and tried desperately to untangle himself from the blanket, which eventually worked. By this time Seokjin had moved everything out of the way that was blocking the path to the small en suite.
Namjoon rushed to the doorway and collapsed to his knees in front of the toilet. He felt his stomach flip suddenly, which added to the nauseousness from his head.
Seokjin attempted to get behind him to comfort him, but he was too tall and his shoulders were probably too broad. Jimin saw his chance and, despite having the third-weakest stomach in the group, he squeezed through the doorway and kneeled down beside Namjoon in the space.
Namjoon knew he was going to vomit at some point, but the question at hand was when. He could literally feel his body preparing to reject his stomach's contents. Then all it took was one heave before he was choking up his breakfast of jam on toast into the porcelain bowl.
Jimin cooed at whatever chance he got; he rarely saw his leader this vulnerable. Namjoon looked up again after a few productive heaves, stating plainly with a look of disgust,
"Well that was the fourth most disgusting experience of my life,"
Jimin giggled at the statement, almost tempted to ask what the third, second and first were, but then Yoongi woke up and, well, the sight of Namjoon wasn't one to help his own nausea.
"Jesus Christ," Namjoon said and put his head in his hands, promising himself to never read books on a boat ever again.
Thank you for 2k reads!!
