BTS | Crash Pt. 2

I was supposed to update in a few days but I have surprise mock exams again for a few weeks so I wanna get this out before I'm gone for a week or so. Ugh I hate exams.

"This is the emergency services, which service do you require?"

Hoseok realised at that exact moment that he was not fluent in English. He translated the words 'emergency' and 'which', and tried to create a question from that.

Which emergency. That makes sense right?
"Umm, we need a, uh... ambulance," he said unsurely. He heard a small clicking noise, and then a small rush of static.

"This is the ambulance service, please describe your situation," Hoseok didn't even try and translate the question; he just wanted an ambulance.
"Uh, me and my friends, we're in... um, car... c-crash?" There was a short pause, then-

"Okay. Sir, are you fluent in English?" Ah, Hoseok had memorised this question and answer,
"No, I uhh- speak Korean and Japanese,"

Somehow they quickly connected him to a paramedic who spoke Japanese. After he told her their general location, she asked,
"How many people were involved in this accident?"

"Seven of us are stuck in the cars, but there was an eighth. They caused the crash in their own car but drove away." Hoseok explained, praying that help was coming soon; what he had seen from Jimin had shook him to the core.

"Can you describe as many of your friends' conditions as you can, please?" Hoseok looked back at Jungkook and saw the bruises all over his arms and knees, which were exposed by the rips in his jeans.

"Umm, one has been unconscious since we crashed, and the other is unconscious now but woke up a few minutes ago. He has glass pieces in his arms and he threw up earlier."

"Okay. You said there were seven of you, are the other four in the second car?"

"Yes, I don't know about them, but they are probably worse than us, they got most of the impact."

After the phone conversation, Hoseok was startled when he heard a scream from somewhere outside. From the direction it came from he assumed it was from the other car. Then, almost like a chain reaction, he heard some painful, wet coughs from behind him.

He turned, thinking that Jimin had reawakened but was surprised to see Jungkook sitting with his head down, coughing and retching dark blood onto his front. Hoseok panicked and shouted Jungkook's name over and over.

Jungkook kept his head low until his coughing was reduced to raspy breaths. Then when he looked up, Hoseok saw the youngest's extremely dilated pupils. Jungkook moaned highly as he fell forwards, almost leaning on the back of Hoseok's seat.

"Jungkook-" he didn't even get to finish before Jungkook whined loudly and began to cry hysterically, the sound sending alarm signals to Hoseok's brain. Hoseok reached back and slowly tried to climb into the back seat, but stopped halfway through so that he was sat between the two front seats.

He placed a hand on Jungkook's shoulder and carefully moved him back to a sitting position, which made Jungkook scream with such a volume that Hoseok didn't know a person could achieve. It broke Hoseok's heart to do such a thing to the agonised, hysterical boy.

Hoseok leaned forwards and dragged Jungkook's long hair away from his face, then stayed back and watched the maknae scream and cry, knowing he couldn't do anything to help.

Screams from the other car pierced through the mostly silence in the car, save for Taehyung's harsh breathing and sobbing. It startled Yoongi so much that he jumped in his seat.
