"Code omega in vehicle number 014, code omega."

Yoongi's heart stopped. Thankfully only figuratively. His head snapped up as he opened his mouth to ask what a code omega was-
"Code omega means someone is losing too much blood."

Taehyung gasped, tears filling his already red and sensitive eyes. He looked to Yoongi who was lay on the stretcher and said shakily,
"Hyung, Jin-hyung, he-" he placed a mouth over his mouth and looked away. Those words were all Yoongi needed to hear to figure out what that meant.

Yoongi realised how much of a problem that was. You see, Seokjin and Yoongi's blood type was O, which is useful for everyone else who can use that blood, but not for each other, as they could only use blood from another O type person. If Seokjin was losing blood, Yoongi had to get to Seokjin quickly to give him his own, as none of the others had the same type. (God that was confusing, I hope you get it)

Yoongi turned to Hyungsik,
"Seokjin, he uhh- the person in 014 has type O blood."
Hyungsik stopped dabbing Taehyung's hand with a sterile cleansing wipe. He turned to Yoongi,
"Sir, do you know if any of the people involved in the crash have type O blood? It would be very helpful to be able to use some of their blood if they are willing,"

Yoongi looked down at his hands, any fears he had of needles or blood extraction washing away in an instant.
"I do. I can give him blood." Hyungsik asked for his name. Upon being answered, he picked up his small communications device,
"Patient in 014 is type O, Min Yoongi in 012 will give blood," he said in very rushed English.

Yoongi breathed out an unsteady breath; he had had enough stress in the last twenty minutes to last a lifetime. Taehyung whimpered quietly, signalling to Yoongi that Hyungsik had started disinfecting the gashes on his hand.

Yoongi was slightly dazed from his state of intense panic to the point of mild dissociation, so when the ambulance pulled into the paved area facing the A&E entrance, it took Hyungsik patting him on the (good) shoulder a few times for him to snap back to reality. He looked around for a split second, then muttered a small 'oh' and held that arm out to be hooked around Taehyung's shoulders.

"Sir, are you Min Yoongi?" Someone asked in English the moment they got through the entrance. Yoongi nodded at the mention of his own name, even if they pronounced 'yoongi' as 'yunji'. He didn't have time to nit-pick. The man made a gesture to Hyungsik, who immediately left and retrieved a wheelchair for Yoongi. Yoongi wasted no time in sitting down and letting himself be pushed away to the Intensive Care Unit while the English man tried to tell Taehyung to go to a reserved private hospital room.

What is hyung going to look like? Will he be awake? Does he need surgery? What if I can't give enough blood? All of these questions were circling Yoongi's overwhelmed mind as Hyungsik pushed him through the long corridor, stopping at the next door to give them both disinfectant alcohol from a dispenser by the door. He then pushed him into a loud, clustered room filled with visiting families, scary-looking machines and wires, and patients with less-emergency conditions but still severe injuries.

"Mr. Min, are you willing to give blood for Kim Seokjin?" Hyungsik asked him when he stopped him outside the emergency room that Seokjin was in, pulling over a freshly sterilised, empty IV stand. Yoongi nodded without hesitation, which prompted Hyungsik to ask,
"Do you smoke, consume drugs or heavily drink alcohol, sir?" Yoongi shook his head.

Hyungsik stuck him with the wire connection without hesitation, knowing that it would hurt less if it was spontaneous. Nonetheless, Yoongi still shuddered when he felt the pinprick of pain in his wrist. He didn't exactly want to look at his own blood leaving his body, so he decided to look at Hyungsik, asking,
"What's going to happen to Seokjin?"
