Jimin | Dentist 🎉

I know I'm like a week early but I just finished it after like a month and I was too excited. I know I won't be able to wait that long and also I haven't updated for a week so might as well. Enjoy :)

"I seem childish, but I can't help it. I hate it!"

Jimin giggled as he smiled into the camera. He loved talking with ARMYs on Vlive, especially since their schedules were quite empty right now.

He had always hated going to see the dentist, ever since he was a kid. When he was younger, dentist visits had always been the worst days. It always ended in tears from Jimin and his mother scolding him for causing such a scene. Even as he grew up and became a teenager, he still promptly burst into tears when his mother said he was due a visit.

Cut to Jimin now, and… well, he still cried when he went to the dentist. It was extremely embarrassing, but Jimin couldn't help it. He knew it was childish of him to still be scared of the dentist, but when Yoongi told him casually one day,
"Maybe it's odontophobia," it made sense all of a sudden. It wasn't just a fear. It was hard-wired into his mind to avoid dentists at all costs.

So when he discussed it in his livestream, he… softened the details a little. He wasn't about to share his experiences at the dentist with them. He made it funny and cute so that ARMY didn't worry about him.

And, naturally, fate caused him to wake up with a horrible toothache not even a week later. Luckily, there were no tense schedules at that time, only a dinner date with the other members that evening and a free day tomorrow. The day after that was a Run episode filming, which shouldn't be too hard. Jimin sat up in bed and promptly realised that he wasn't in the dorms. He was in the spare room of Seokjin's apartment.

(Just to clear any confusion up, Jin, Tae, Jungkook and Hobi have their own apartments. Jimin, Yoongi and Namjoon still live in the dorms but the others are usually in the dorms anyway. Jin just bought his new apartment and Jimin wanted to stay over because he's clingy okay)

Jin came into the room a few minutes later and found Jimin still in bed. He smiled fondly and said,
"Jimin, it's ten o'clock, you might wanna get up." Jimin groaned and got out of bed, heading for the bathroom. After getting ready, he realised that he still needed to brush his teeth. He braced himself and put the brush in his mouth, wincing at the pain in his aching tooth. It was at the far back of the right side of his mouth, which worried him because what if it's a wisdom tooth?

After he was ready he went into the kitchen and got himself a yoghurt from Seokjin's fridge.
"There you go, using all my water and taking all my food," Seokjin remarked amusedly as he put pieces of bread into the toaster. Jimin turned and replied with a mouthful of yoghurt,
"It's one yoghurt, hyung, I'm sure you can buy another,"

Seokjin shook his head with an amused smile. Jimin finished his breakfast and quickly left the apartment, heading over to the dorms where all of his belongings were. He needed a pair of fresh, good-looking clothes and fast. If he had a hot date later in the day, he had to start getting ready at least four hours before or he wouldn't he happy with himself.

Namjoon greeted him from the breakfast table as he walked in. Jimin said as he put his keys on the side,
"Guess you slept in too." Namjoon nodded, replying,
"Might as well, since there's nothing to do until later."

Jimin got to his and Hoseok's room and found that Hobi was sat on his bed playing on his Nintendo Switch. The pair remained in silence as Jimin searched through their walk in wardrobe for an outfit. Then suddenly he felt the need to sneeze. As he sneezed, although it was one of those quiet princess sneezes he did, it managed to agitate his mouth enough that his aching tooth managed to hurt an excruciating amount.
