"I would never end things Stevie, I never did and I never will because I love you!" Lindsey stated, softly and Stevie felt like it was another kick into her heart, causing her to feel even more guilty for her whole few night stand with John all those months ago. 

"Dig the boot in again, I know I fucked up by dumping you and then having sex with John!" Stevie exclaimed and then felt a sharp twinge in her stomach "Ow!" She winced, rubbing her baby bump and Lindsey instantly rushed to her side, panicking flooding him. 

"Steph, please calm down, I'm sorry, just please relax!" Lindsey stated and gently rubbed her arms as he stared into her worried golden brown eyes that were glimmering with all the unshed tears.

"Don't be sorry, you have no idea how sorry I am and always will be!" She stammered and looked up at him, her golden brown eyes looking filled with tears.

"Its in the past, we were both with different people, I just presumed John must have meant something for you to not say anything about him!" Lindsey explained, still insecure.

"But he didn't!" Stevie sighed "Its John for fuck sake! He is just John!"

"My bandmate Stevie, how do you think that made me feel, after all these months, I was hurt and I feel like you don't love me and aren't honest with me!" Lindsey said quietly and cupped her face gently.

"But I do love you, we weren't together when I was with John but I can assure you that the baby is yours, John was insignificant and I felt sickened with guilt over it all because he is Christine's husband and I fucking loved you, always have and always will, cant we get past this?" 

"We can get past anything, I was with Carol and I wasn't in a good place back then, I cant judge who you were with, I know how lines can blur Steph, just please don't get worked up anymore about it, there's always a way back!" He smiled softly, caressing her jawline and she had never felt such a flicker of hope.

"You still want me then?" She asked in almost a squeak. 

"Of course, my feelings are just hurt Steph but that's all we do is hurt eachother, but our love is always stronger, time heals everything!" Lindsey said and softly kissed her lips, hating to see the tears that had started streaming down her cheeks.

She quickly wrapped her arms around him and cuddled him best she could "I love you Linds and I am sorry!" 

"I love you to and I'm sorry too!" He said, rubbing her back lovingly.

"You have nothing to be sorry about!" Stevie stated as she nestled against him.

"I was an asshole back then, lets just forget about all of it tonight anyway, you and the baby need rest, lets just head on over to the hotel!" He said warmly, taking his suit jacket off and wrapping around her, feeling how cold her skin felt and he had realised she was still only wearing her wedding dress. 

"I am tired but I am so sorry!" Stevie said softly.

"Think of how tomorrow will be better than before, yesterday's gone!" Lindsey smiled, trying to make a joke to cheer Stevie up because he could tell how upset she was.

Stevie forced a smile, warmed by Lindsey's reaction to everything but she felt bad as he mentioned the lyrics to 'Don't stop' because it reminded her of Christine and how Christine and her twins had nearly died "Yes, lets just go to the hotel, I am tired!" Stevie admitted, which was true and as much as she was mad at herself, she wanted to look after herself best to her abilities for the baby.

"Well lets go, and stop stressing!" Lindsey smiled and kissed her cheek.

"I am still really sorry, I still feel bad about everything still!" Stevie frowned and then he cupped her face.

"Lets forget about it, even if we just forget for now, you need rest, come on!" He smiled and wrapped his arm around her as he led her in from on the balcony.
