The concept of partnerships is a rather interesting one. The idea of forming a bond with someone else and becoming apart one another. Everything you own you now share between you. Your Home, your finances and even your family. Family is where it gets interesting. The idea that now that you are partnered you are now absorbed into each others families and become apart of that family tree. They make it sound so easy but it is far from that. So many conflicting views, ideas, personalities and you expect all of them to simply treat you automatically as family. To some the idea of accepting you as family is like accepting a disease and you have to fight that much harder to gain their trust.

For a few seconds Ayla and her opponent simply stood still analysing each others stance taking deep breathes. The crowd was silent waiting for the two to lash out at each other. Ayla's opponent Jericho shared similar olive toned skin to her and wore a fur lined sleeveless jacket. His fur lined consisted of the colours of white and silver matching the overall colour scheme of the arena and the city itself. His hair was in a shaved down mohawk style and the lower half of his face was painted grey with white crescents on his face cracking the border between the grey and his own skin tone.  In his hands he held a glowing white spear.

Hala was watching from the stands at the edge of her seat tapping her foot anxiously as she thought to herself.

Of all the opponents you could of gotten, why did it have to be him?

Hala was snapped out of her thoughts by the female scruffy looking Lupi sitting next to her, slouched in her seat offering up some of her alcohol as she shook the flask in front of her. Hala gave her a confuse look before responding.

"I'm good, thanks."

The scruffy Lupi shrugged retreating her hand getting ready to take another swig.

Hala returned back to her thoughts.

Jericho is strong and he won't hold back but I know just as well Ayla perfectly capable of winning this fight.

She was snapped out of her thoughts once again as the two fighters clashed causing the crowd to erupt with excitement. The two stared each other down with looks of determination as the two tried to out match each other in strength.

"I hope you're aware that I won't go easy on you just because you are my sisters mate." Jericho spoke with a deep and serious tone of voice.

Ayla smirked as the two stayed locked in this match of strength pushing their pole-arms against each other.

"Funny I was about to a say a similar thing about you being my mates brother."

Jericho was not amused at all as the two pushed each other back creating some distance between them. Ayla quickly dashed back in to close the gap, going in with multiple stabbing lunges with her glaive. Jericho calmly assessing her movements dodged ever strike that came towards him. Ayla quickly paused her stabbing assault going in for a back handed slash with the end of her weapon. The Hunter was quick to respond leaning back dodging the slashing attack taking the opportunity to quickly slash at her stomach with his spear only slightly grazing her.

Ayla quickly chained the direction of her slash swiping across towards Jericho's feet in which once again was quick to respond with his lightning reflexes. Jericho threw himself into a back flip dodging the slash and creating a good distance between him and Ayla. The two stared each other down once again with Jericho lightly pacing back and forth summoning a second spear in his offhand. The crowd sat and watched in anticipation of the seemingly balanced fight.

"Man this is gonna be a good fight."

"They seem so evenly matched, I have no idea who is gonna win."
