The Unknown. It's something all of us fear. All of our fears, our worries, our pain it all stems in one or another from the unknown. It is only natural for us to be afraid of that which we do not know. We fear it not because of what it is but what it could be, and the possibilities for what that thing could be are limitless. It could be our darkest nightmares or our greatest dreams, it could destroy everything we've built or it could enable us to rise to greater heights. Yet our minds always imagine the darkest possibility the most tragic outcome. It's how we are designed. Our minds are programmed to always prepare for the worst and the logic in doing such is sound but it also limits us on what we could be, what we could become. Keeps us away from the knowledge that lies in the unknown, the untapped potential waiting to be unleashed.

In the sea of the unknown lies a wealth of knowledge and the only way to truly fight the unknown is to obtain more...

Knowledge.

1 hour before Blue's awakening...

The group had arrived at the coast and split up and set up in their respective positions as planned. Hagorn and his squad stayed back at the forest while Makya's squad was already set up at the stop of the cliffs in the ideal sniper position to watch over the operation. Vesper was with them looking over the coast and out into the dark blue sea where the base sat. The wind was strong as their clothing and hair flowed with it. Vesper was observing the base looking for the right spot to create her portal to teleport Kuro and his men in. The base was far larger than any Hunter base she had seen before. It had a sleek black aesthetic which was something most human structures shared, along with running blue lights that ran along it. There was a large central building structure which seemed to be where the hangers and central communications and control rooms were based with three large runways going outwards into the sea stemming from it. One going straight forward and two going left and right. Multiple small forms of aircraft were stationed on the sides of the runaways along with a landing bad on the top of the central tall building.

"Got it." Vesper said as her eyes narrowed in on an unguarded entrance at the front left of the base, blind to anyone who may have been keeping watch.

"Good, send us in." Kuro responded. He looked back to the 4 members in his squad to make sure they were also ready to begin the operation. Each of them nodded in response to his look pulling up their masks and readying themselves to go in.

Vesper opened up the first of her portals in front of them opening up another at the chosen position. Kuro and his men all entered the portal one after the other exiting out the other side in an instant each of them hugging a long side the wall next to the door to make sure no one on the other side had seen them. Once noticed that it was clear they each shadow teleported into the building. Seeing that they had all made it through she quickly closed her portals to make sure no one noticed. She looked towards Makya to confirm.

"Alright, they're in." She said nervously.

"Good, letting the bird loose." Makya responded holding out his arm with Orion on it for him to take flight into the night moonlit circling the coast and the base looking out for any signals or potential disturbances.

"That sure is one smart bird." He commented before materialising his rifle out of shadows into his hand and aiming it towards the base scanning the area.

Vesper and the rest of Makya's squad all proceeded to take their positions and took similar positions watching over the area.

45 minutes until Blue's awakening...

Kuro and his squad cautiously made their way through the base using their shadow teleportation to avoid the site of cameras and Hunter operatives. The black interior only aided to their ability to get through unnoticed allowing them to blend into their surroundings. They found themselves approaching the main hangar of the base. Before proceeding Kuro raised his hand signalling for them to halt at the corner before they entered the hanger. Kuro noticed two operatives walking towards the door one of them pushing the panel and opening the hangar doors. At that moment Kuro with a quick hand motion signalled for them to enter. Teleporting into one of the corners covered by shadows due to a platform above. The 5 of them cloaked themselves in the shadows making them unnoticeable to anyone as the observed the room. It was filled with multiple kinds of aircraft positioned in docks along the sides of the room. In the middle was the runway which connected to the large runway outside. On either side of the room were platforms with a snipers at the railings along with other operatives mainly engineers going on about their business as normal.
